It’s raining. My eastern windows were really dirty on the outside. I sprayed them with a neutral cleaner and am hoping the rain will clean them.

Steady rain expect soon here.
Thankfully the rain you received has arrived here. A nice steady but light rain is falling with the temp of 38. The rain is expected to end this morning and a window of dry weather is expected for the trick or treaters. Good deal! More rain tonight overnight and on and off for the next several days. We sure can use it.

Today is a run to Idaho for stuff and a session at the gun cleaning bench. Then later this afternoon a neighbor who turns 80 today is having a small get together that we’re attending. Haven’t seen a trick or treater since we left the suburbs in 2004.

Good morning, and welcome to Nov.
It's 61° now with a high around 70.
5 mph breeze with 10 mph gusts.
We've about got most of the really high parts done, got rained out yesterday. Still lack the half gable, we'll get it this morning and start on the trim and porch beams.

60 now with it predicted to reach 81 later this afternoon with a 0% chance of rain .... Maureen has come down with some sort of bug that has her feeling pretty rough .... my first impression is, we will probably hang around the house today, no walk in the local town park

From Vaquero…

Groan…

38 with a cold rain falling which is expected to stick around most of the day. We need it, the weatherman said this morning we are still way behind in our annual rain amount. Most likely I’ll be staying indoors today other than the morning dog hike. They could care less about me as long as THEY get their fun in….

Got some 327 brass to decap and put in the tumbler. That’s a good start to an indoor day.

42 and rainy. It rained all day yesterday and I think all night too. As of the 5:00 news yesterday we had nearly a half inch and I suppose by now we’re probably up to 3/4”. Not a hard rain but a nice steady light rain, good for soaking into the ground. Had a real lazy day yesterday between the rain and my back having spasms (not normal for me) I spent most of the day in my recliner on a heat pad. I did manage to decap and tumble some 327 brass.

Today I expect more of the same but of course the dogs will be bugging be for a hike here soon. Happy to oblige. :D

I was under the weather for a bit yesterday but I'mn feeling
a lot better today. I visited with my oldest daughter who lives
in Buffalo, NY last evening and she told me she'd blacked out on
her way to work two weeks ago and now she has a Pacemaker
implanted. A Pacemaker? My little girl? God I'm getting old.

Coffee hits the spot this morning. Had the fall cow working dsy yesterday. Son and his wife and their son and his girl friend came and helped and it all went smooth. Perfect weather, cool and the rain held off all morning. Started when it was just light enough to see and finished right at noon. I was tired out when we finished but it is always a great feeling to have that chore done! Today is rest. This weekend is youth season in missouri and my grabdaughter shot a smaller 9 point (with a 6.5 creedmore my son gave her for christmas last year), and my friends little boy shot a small 7 point, (with a single shot 243 i redid and gave him). Both were quiet happy! , so a good weekend all around. Now let it rain.

Congrats to both kids, well done. (And to the adults who support them)

35 here right now and the forecast is for a partly cloudy day with a break in the rain. Yesterday it rained most of the day and in the morning it was a pretty hard rain. All the ground is very saturated with ponding in the normal areas. Rained so hard that the morning dog hike happened late afternoon.

Today’s wild plans include changing the clocks and smoke alarm batteries and watching the Seattle Seahawks get their butts kicked again. The language I would use to describe their effort last week is not safe for work or this website. Grrrrrrrr

It’s 7:00 am and it’s light. The dogs will be happy to take their hike here in a few. 35 right now with a high of 40 expected. We have a winter storm warning for our area with 8-13” of snow above 4000 ft. Not here at my place but the nearby ski areas are going to get a wonderful snow blast. The goal is to be open for Thanksgiving weekend and this is a good first step. Here at home we are expecting heavy rain and winds gusting to 40. Nice day to stay indoors.
