North Country Gal (Joanie) and Texas Gun Runner (John) have both taught me very valuable lessons in firearms and most important shooting. That is why I wanted both of them to join even though neither owns a Henry. Their knowledge of the most obscure firearms is amazing. I think it is because they have spent their entire lives around firearms.

Thank-you, again, guys. Like I said, wouldn't take much to twist my arm and get me to buy a Henry. I especially like the idea of buying one of those Henrys made right here in Wisconsin, only a couple hours away. Thinking 44 mag, since I shoot 44 mag in my handguns. Actually like the idea of the tube loading, too, since was never too crazy about my fingers getting pinched when loading the Marlins and Winchesters. Simpler, too.

I shoot so much .22LR that I forget about you centerfirers. I like a gate but its not a deal breaker for me although I must say at this time I don't own a centerfire Henry. All my centerfire levers are Winchester or Rossi.

We'll see about a centerfire Henry. Talked it over with the Hubby and he likes the idea of a 22LR Henry, at least. As I posted, originally, though, when it comes to cartridge guns, I'm almost 99% a handgun shooter, anymore. When I shoot rifles, it's mostly air guns.

Now, if Henry made a 1911, I'd be in heaven. :)

I would love to see what you could do with a rimfire Henry.

Hello NCG from Pa. It is nice to have you over here on one of the best forums around and very nice members here. I remember when you bought that Marlin 39a Carbine. I had to keep going back and looking at it and wishing I could find one. I also think I remember when you cut back on a few and sold that one. :o

NCG happy to see you here. After the change on Ruger.net I never went back. Looking to buy a few of these American made firearms.
