Yes i like the look. I could see it be a handy varmit in the yard dispatch tool.... I dont know anmbouz the rhino horn deal mentioned.... for my purpose I am not put off by anything i see besides the price... it just seems to me that if they could sell their 22 rifle for like $389 then a 22 pistol wouldn't have to cost nearly 2.5 times as much, or whatever (at least that is this skinflint tightwad's opinion)......

I feel your pain about the expense, but there's a big difference in construction materials between Henry's less expensive rimfire lever rifles and that revolver, which is essentially a heavy built 357 mag revolver that has now been chambered in 22 LR.

Before I bought my full-size replica .357 and .22 Uberti SAA revolvers, I read that Uberti uses the same barrel and cylinder stock for all their SAAs. The .357 and the six-shot .22 both start with the same barrels and cylinders as a .45, but each has the (smaller) bore of their respective calibers.North Country Gal wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 7:39 pm...that revolver [is] essentially a heavy built 357 mag revolver that has now been chambered in 22 LR.

I noticed that, too, on. my Uberti 12 shot 22 LR. It's pretty heavy for a 22 revolver.

I went to order the Henry .22 revolver at my local FFL today and they had one in stock. I was the first to buy one at this store.
The quality is excellent, I took it home and tried it out on my own range. The accuracy was very good but it takes a bit getting used to the narrow front blade, I'm used to a wider front Patridge style sight and an adjustable rear sight. The DA was very smooth for a new revolver, very impressive. The SA trigger is also very crisp. It comes with 3 front sights for elevation adjustment but the medium height sight that was installed is perfect for the shooting I do. I could easily hit my steel plates with the Henry. The speed loaders that I designed for the Colt and Ruger 10 shots work great in the new Henry.

Good info. Thanks. I noticed the great DA pull on the 357 version, too, when I inspected one at our LGS.

Here's some results from today with a fairly stable rest, it seems to like CCI Standard Velocity.
