Hello from NCG

Post by North Country Gal » Tue Nov 29, 2016 6:46 pm

Been looking for a forum that is more active with shooting and gun talk and less with politics and non-gun topics, so thought it was about time to take up on an invite from Sir Henry, Seabee, Dave and other pals on another forum to join Henry. Yes, I am the same North country gal you might see on other forums.

No, I don't own any Henry's, but hope to contribute in other areas. Have been shooting, now, for over forty years and am passionate about shooting. I am truly a shooting addict. The bulk of my shooting is with handguns (rimfire up to the biggest hand canons) and with air guns. My husband and I make two to three trips a week to the range to shoot in all but our coldest months. During winter, I shoot almost daily with the air guns. Have also done a little shooting with CZs and Marlins, Winchesters, Rugers, Smiths, Sigs and just about anything that goes bang.

Didn't join to impress anyone, preach or flood the place with range reports. Just hope to help and provide the benefit of my experience.

Thanks for allowing an old gal who just happens to be a shooting nut to join up.

Joanie

Welcome from the Show-Me-State, North Country Gal.
SH and DD have steered you to a good Forum.

The time may come soon that you'll decide you need to own a Henry.
The folk here really like their Henrys, and always proudly show them off.
So that Henry ownership "bug" is always flitting around... ;)

Enjoy your visits.

Thanks, folks. Have to say, that it's probably just a matter of time before I bring one of those slick Henry rifles, home. Will have plenty of questions in the meantime. Have watched videos of the company and am very impressed. Looks like good folks.

Getting a Henry rifle would be an excellent choice. There are already any number of threads, and many comments, about how the Henry RAC Customer Service is off-the-charts!! You used the correct word --- the company is impressive, and have great CS support for all their rifles! :)

I vote "go-for-a-Henry!" :)

I'm breaking my own rule here and want to welcome you Joanie! I'm so glad you took up our invitation. Gene and I had already conspired to give you and texasgunrunner special titles. Please accept it and continue all your range reports and interesting commentary.

Ladies and gentlemen, very soon you will see what a few of us know about Joanie.

I'm glad you are here.

You guys are great, but I knew you would be. :) And, okay, I already posted a report in the air guns section. Couldn't help myself.

Thank-you for the fancy title of firearms advisor. I shall try to be worthy of it,
