Put a park butt in Traeger to smoke. Having some family over for pulled pork sandwiches this afternoon. To the forum have a great day!

I fed my dove hunters homemade BBQ. Homemade hash & rice. Baked beans,,,,,And other goodies before we went onto my dove field today.

I threw some steaks on the barbie and had five friends over on Saturday. We watched the Brewers game.

Filet mignon and garlic smashed potatoes.

I worked my part-time job and came home and had falafels with cucumber sauce. A martini for dessert.

BBQ boneless pork chops with maple syrup over sweet potatoes. The pork chops came out perfect, tender and juicy, not tough and dry.

Labor Day is a big deal for us but after my surgery they weren't sure I could do it. They were WRONG! With my son in laws help we got the yard and pool area ready for the party. One son in law used to run a restaurant so I appointed him to do the burghers and brats and he did a fantastic job. We also had a macaroni salad, creamed cukes, shrimp cocktail, baked beans, and assorted snacks.
As they arrived I sat on the deck and let them come to me. After everyone was there they split up. My son in laws Father took his fishing pole and went down to the dock while his son got in the pool with his son and my Great Grand Daughter. She had a life jacket so she was having a great time. Then she got out and was throwing a ball at them so they squirted her with squirt guns. She's just a little past two years old but I saw the gleam in her eye and she grabbed a squirt gun that was laying on the apron and after she figured out how it worked the war was on. I was laughing so hard my surgery was hurting.
Around five we all sat down with a plate full of food, beer, and wine for the ladies.
It is our custom after eating to all go for a nature walk along our driveway. It's about half a mile through the woods with a couple of hills. The little ones really enjoy that.
It was a really nice day.

As we have for the last 14 years....We had a BBQ-hash & rice dinner with other fixins......Then we went to the dove field and shot doves......Afterward we feasted again.
