Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Best to you Coop and Al. Hope all comes out on the positive side for you both.
Gene, that’s sure a mess you have there, I’m impressed (or maybe not) with the amount of rain you get there in Wisconsin.
After yesterday’s morning light rain I took advantage of the wetness and mowed my trail. Today it’s back to hot and dry with a high of 90 expected. But a cooler week is ahead for us with one day the high only in the 70’s and all other days in the low to mid 80’s. That’s more typical for us. Maybe some thunderstorms with rain tonight but it’s forecast to be more of a central Washington event. But a slight drift to the east could bring it my way. Don’t want the lightning but would love to see more rain.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
We had a smattering of big rain drops this morning. Not enough to wet anything down. Supposed to be 82 today with a possibility of thunderstorms after 5pm. Regardless, rain after that expected up to 0.8 inches. That will be enough to keep the dust down, so probably mow high spots tomorrow. Next week cloudy, in the 70's with rain expected Wed, Thur, Fri.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good deal Mags, glad you got some rain.
As expected we got nothing here at my place. It’s a very nice 52 now with a high of 87. Warm again tomorrow then low 80’s the rest of the week. Hope this continues into next week as we’re planning on heading back up to the lake for several days. Would love to see the temps stay in the 80’s and not the 90’s.
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I was thinking last night it ought to be heading your direction. But alas no. It went up through the Cascades and the coast into BC.Hatchdog wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2024 10:37 amGood deal Mags, glad you got some rain.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
54 on my thermometer but 46 is the official Deer Park temp. I’m thinking 46 is more accurate as it’s very cool out there. Both my wife and I seem to have mild summer colds. She just took a covid test and is negative so our streak continues with neither of us ever testing positive for it. High today is 90 but starting tomorrow it cools down to the 80’s and maybe a day with a high in the 70’s. A couple of weeks ago we postponed a trip to the lake due to high heat and are heading up on Sunday for the week. Of course now there is a suggestion that next week it’s going to heat up again. Figures, the two weeks we stayed home have been much cooler.
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Today: currently 69, a high of 84 and an overnight low of 60. Mowing this morning and baking a birthday cake this afternoon. It’s my shooting partner granddaughter’s birthday tomorrow and she asked me to make her a double chocolate cake. Everyone have a great day! I normally put the flag emoji here but all my emoji’s show up as a question mark so!?

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A warm 57 this morning as we had some clouds come in overnight. High is 83 which is wonderful. Hitting the golf course today so it should be a pleasant day weather wise. My golf game, now that’s another story.
Maybe a thunderstorm tonight but they look to be staying west of me.

Just got home a short time ago from getting my ablation done on my heart. Wife says she couldnt believe they even found one there must be and equipment malfunction. Dr said everything went very good and he was pleased. Now for the healing process as I cannot do any bike riding for at least 5 days. Im sure boredom will set in but hey I have an idea, He didnt say I couldnt go shooting.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Well, he ran a lot of tests but we haven't gotten the results yet. Or rather I have, but I don't know what
they mean, so we're waiting on him to get a chance to look at them. He did look rather grim as we left
however. Not like him.
