Wish me some luck!

Post by fortyshooter » Fri Jul 26, 2024 8:28 pm

Been a busy several days finishing up my black powder loading stand for the new 1851 Navy Pepperbox. Starting out with the Hornady .375 ball loaded
over 15 gr by volume Black MZ. Load range with the real BP is 22 gr. and Pyrodex 17 gr. Will also be trying out the use of Small Pistol primers and in all my test fires without powder they all went bang and stayed in place.
So tomorrow Saturday is test day!

Oh and I also swapped on a Uberti Birds head grip and like the look and feel of it better on this short little beast :D

Nice job Forty. It looks like you're all set and ready for the range.
