What did you do at your reloading bench today?

Trying to catch up on my .45 ACP loading lately. I need to keep the 1911's fed but it seems like the Ruger LC carbine consumes an awful lot of ammo and shoots very well with the RCBS 201 SWC over 5 gr. of 231.

I divided up 1000 rounds of 10 mm bras with a shooting friend and put away 500 rounds of 40 S&W ammo. Those pistol caliber carbines are hungry machines. Can buy 40 ammo just about as cheap as I can load it

Kinda like 9mm at the moment, cheaper to buy ammo than the components.

Been loading a lot of .38 spl lately. Some powder puff loads my wife likes to shoot and some regular everyday loads for me.
Been too hot in the deserts now, but, come Fall, I'm ready.

Well, yesterday afternoon I tore this 357 Rossi down and did a good deep cleaning. Was definitely in need.I also changed the front sight to one a little taller and also added a saddle ring. That was aggravating as heck getting the holes lined up. Oh, and changed out the mag follower to the metal one.
I have the rear peep sight that replaces the stupid safety but I didn't get it done. Really want to see how the taller sight works first.

Met with an old co-worker I haven’t seen in a few years. He came over to buy a couple of knives and a gun case I had for sale. We had a nice long catchup chat sitting at my reloading bench. (Now that’s a stretch of use isn’t it. )

If you mean X-exterminator, I used it with some good results and still have a wee bit of it left.
Haven't load much 223 in the past few yrs., either though.

Bought 500 rounds of 357 brass from Diamond K brass due in tomorrow. That will give me about a 1000 rounds for 357 brass.

Didn’t reload any ammo but did use the bench to finally get my scope mounted on my 300 Blackout AR. Looking good! Replaced a 1-4x20 with this 3-9x40 and this old man’s eyes are going to appreciate both the increased magnification and the increased field of view.

Ventured Into new territory. Put together some 10mm Auto loads to test out at my daughter’s house next weekend. Never loaded these before and as with everything new it was a learning experience. Biggest headache was readjusting the 40 S&W dies to 10mm.

On the left is a 180 gr hi-tek coated bullet and on the right is a 220 gr lead flat point. According to the load data the 180 gr should go about 1100-1150 fps with the 220 gr going about 950 fps. Mainly want to see function and feeding in a 1911.
