Name that tune
Re: Name that tune
Aren't all the clues for one song? I have no idea what it could be.

They are, yes.

Re: Name that tune
First, thank you all for playing.
You have all been participants in an unofficial 'proof-of-concept' experiment to identify one or more individuals who exhibit an innate aptitude for connecting seemingly unrelated bits of information and thinking out-of-the-box; and therefore may be suitable recruits as a analyst or field agent for an unnamed intelligence organization.
All but one of the clues you were given, except one (the pizza), pointed directly to the title of the song and it's musical performance. The pizza was the clue that pointed to a specific music video rendition of the song - pizza normally is delivered in a box - and it was intended to also function as a distraction.
I was free to select the music video, the clues, and the target population.
Here's the target you were aiming for. All of the clues will make sense if you watch and listen to it carefully. I hope y'all have enjoyed this small foray into the world of intelligence gathering, and don't forget to boogie.
PS: Nothiing is as it seems.

Re: Name that tune
I know the song well, but never seen the video. It was the Pizza that threw me off. Could not figure out what the Pizza had to do with a song, lol.
Enjoyed the challenge.

Never heard the song, don't know of The Tractors but I liked it!
Thanks for the interesting challenge.

Re: Name that tune
I suppose with enough searching you might come across that particular video but not knowing The Tractors were a musical group and never having heard the song or seen the video it would seem somewhat unlikely.

Re: Name that tune
The song came out in 1994 and was popular on the charts, getting up to #8 I think. The genre 'Boogie Woogie' is still popular in some quarters. Y'all may enjoy some of LadyVa's piano playing. She plays just for fun in airports and train stations sometimes. Here's a couple. She also sings quite well.

Re: Name that tune
I expected more Country music fans here.
I've heard the song 100's of times.
Of course, I always have the radio on at work and while driving, lol.

Re: Name that tune
That was awesome. No chance for me to make the connection as I have never heard the song or heard of the band The Tractors. But I’m happy that I now have and I plan to add the song to my playlist. In my younger days I was pretty narrow minded with music enjoying only either classic rock or blues. I find as I get older my mind is much more open to many other genres.
Fun post, thanks Gunny.

Re: Name that tune
I've heard the song a bunch back then, but never seen the video.
In the 90's I was mostly a rock & roll fan.
Now I listen to more country, but not today's so called country.
More like the Outlaw country and stuff from the late 60' through the late 80's early 90's stuff.
So the pizza picture was more of a distraction than a clue.

Re: Name that tune
I listened to Oldies when they were still new, lol. Till they went sour. Then I listened to Oldies as Oldies. Then a mixture of Oldies and Country, then finally all Country. But the stations I listen to today play the new and old songs, all the way back to the '50's.
Still love the Oldies though, '53 to '73 being my favorite era.
