I can’t believe I haven’t plinked in two weeks. Sometimes I get so busy working on the place. This morning I thought I would honor our fallen by exercising a right many of them fought for.

The yellow rocket is filling in nicely to prevent erosion.

Good way to spend Memorial Day. I'm overdue to step out on the deck for some plinking.

Great sound when you hit steel. Looks like you put in some fresh gravel.

You have had several range reports since my last one.

That was back in 2018 and the early days of my range setup and that was 40 tons of large and small gravel to keep me out the mud. Rainy today so no range time :(

It’s been way too long again. My garage project is time consuming but now that the pad is complete and the concrete poured I have a few weeks till the building gets started.

This is the first time I’ve shot at traps on the new berm. It’s beside the new garage and a better summer range. This is from 50 yards.

A slight telephoto from 50.

The traps are just dug into the slope.

This is a telephoto view from 100 yards. I need to either place more traps higher and to the left or put up a deer stand. I plan on making one big enough that four people can shoot from. It won’t be used for hunting, just target shooting.

That's quite the operation you have going there, Gene. So, you have two berms, now?
