I was outside most of the day mowing and saw dozens of birds. I’m not sure what kind of bird this is. I see lots of blue jays and cardinals.

It’s getting late and the shot was an extreme telephoto. If you look close you can see the same bird on the roofline.

The previous owner liked birds and built several bird houses. She also only allowed one hay cutting after the bobolink has hatched in the grasses. Now that I own the hayfield I’m following suit and only allowing one latter cutting. A dairy farmer cuts the hay and uses it for horse feed.
