46 this morning so once again no fire in the stove. Upper 50’s later but overcast skies mostly with maybe a sneak peek of the sun here and there. We had a very nice soft extended rain last night, just what the rain doctor ordered. Sure need more but only scattered showers in the forecast for the next week.

Today I have a couple of mowers to do maintenance on and my wife ordered a couple more Ring cameras that are waiting to be installed. Then there’s the big mess in the garage and shop that I ignored getting ready for our recent trip. Huh, nothing to do today. (I saved these chores for today as there was rain in the forecast and all these are indoor (mostly) tasks.)

43 with partly cloudy skies. We should see 60 today with a slight chance of showers.

We’re planning to run over to Idaho today for some errands and while there we may take the dogs to Cabelas. The pup is all up to date on his vaccinations and is cleared to go out in public. Parvo is a big concern around here so pups are kept away from public places until after all shots have kicked in.

Good morning, 65° here this AM headed towards 83, so it shows. Was about the same yesterday and a few of us got out for some wind therapy ;) road down to the Tennessee River and had a great lunch by the water. Then down through the Shiloh Park down close to Pickwick Damn. Then back home, road somewhere around 150-160 miles.
Was a darn good day other than it was a bit windy, but we saw no idiots on the road.
This is where we stopped for lunch, Fisherdale Marina.

41 this morning when I got up. Partly cloudy now with a high in the mid 50’s expected. Windy today. We had a great rain/hail yesterday that put a lot of water into the ground. I was in my metal shop building and man did that hail make a racket. Great to see and it’s sure greening up around here. Got my rough duty mower all serviced and ready to go yesterday so today I’ll do some mowing outside the yard. No dust, yea!

41 again this morning with a stormy day ahead. Rain, wind and possible thunderstorms forecast with even some spotty snow here and there. Nothing that is expected to stay around other than in the mountains. Then the rest of the week is supposed to improve other than some spotty showers here and there.

Look how big our pup is getting. Yesterday he went to Pet Smart for an outing and got a little bit overwhelmed with all the people and other dogs. Here he is back home again on guard with his older brother Trey.

28 this morning and the upper 40’s later. Sunny skies thankfully. Just two days ago I cleaned and vacuumed the wood stove and “put it away” for the season. Right not there is a nice warm fire burning in it so I’ll get to repeat the cleaning. It’s worth it!

Today I’m planning on mowing mine and my neighbors lawns. Tomorrow it’s supposed to be a bit warmer so my buddies and I are hitting the golf course.

45 here this am and yesterday I was busy for most of the day. I mowed and trimmed the yard along with washing the car and the pickup. I did some front yard aeration to but still have a little more to do. Tomorrow starts the Dr visits. I need my yearly physical and my heart seems to think it needs to take a beat off quite frequently. I feel fine and have no pain of any kind but sure would like to know why its doing that.
