38 and overcast but no rain for now. Not sure what the high will be but probably in the low 40’s. I don’t think it got out of the 30’s yesterday as it was a cold rainy/misty day. I have a HOA meeting this morning and afterwards I plan to load my tractor on my trailer to take it up north tomorrow. My son and I are heading up there to put a shooting range together. If it’s not raining first I use the tractor to smooth out my gravel driveway.
The range parts ready to be loaded.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Don't take me seriously fellows I'm too much tongue in cheek. It was 64°this morning on the dog walk. We should have clear skies all day with rain coming in at the first of the week. They say we probably won't get a chance to view the eclipse with the cloud cover and rain possibilities we're going to have. The hill country in the "path of totality" is forecast to even be worse. I hope all the people who booked hotels took out travel insurance. I've got plenty of work to do today to make up for yesterday's excursion.

Got a new train set and trying to figure out where to add it to my existing setup. May have to get Mrs.B’s artistic design ability. I can make the track fit if she designs the area! Everyone have a great day!

35 here with a better day expected. 50 or so with partly cloudy skies. Then nice nice nice all week with another touch of a 70 degree day possible.
Heading up north today to put the range in and coming along with me are two Henry Big Boys, 41 and 327, my Marlin 39-A, 686, Wrangler and my CZ 75-B 9mm. I picked up some of the new fangled G9 Woodsman ammo and I want to make sure it will function in my CZ. Report to follow.

36 this morning on its way to 66 and the good news is, much better spring weather is forecasted to roll in tomorrow .... that really nice weather is forecasted to hang around through at least the 16th .... we didn't receive a standard notice and let the tag renewal for our '05 Trailblazer slip by .... I need to find a place to have it inspected today and Maureen will go to DMV and get it straightened out tomorrow ....

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was 71° on the dog walk this morning. It sprinkled a bit as we were getting back to the house. We've got a 40% chance of rain today but tomorrow it goes up to 70%. There is rain in the forecast through Thursday morning.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
We have been unhappy with the church we've been attending or the last 7 or 8 years. One, it's too far way, (28 miles), two it's not a very friendly group, and three we were not fond of the Priest, so this morning we tried another one that is much closer and Carol seems to like it better.
Maybe we've found a home, anyway, afterward we decided to travel to a Supper Club that opens on Sunday morning for brunch.
We've been there many times in the past but I seem to have outdone myself this morning.
It's $25.00 a person for all you can eat with free champagne or a mimosa. The mimosa is never ending I might add.
I had a small salad, a shrimp cocktail, and salmon on cucumber to assuage my conscience, then I got busy eating.
I had a large piece of prime rib and then a custom made omelet with everything in it. The omelet was huge BTW.
I then had a warm orange glazed cinnamon roll.
I finished off with a bread pudding with a sweet sauce and a piece of rich chocolate cake.
Of course I had a couple mimosas during this time.
I am not normally a big eater so that was a lot for me and I ended up in a carb induced sleep coma in my recliner trying to
watch NASCAR. I just now woke up.

Nor do I...even if I had the glasses I have no desire to look at the sun. It will be evident enough just to look at my surroundings.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Dang, Coop, that was a lot of food! Sounded good though. I can almost taste that warm orange glazed cinnamon roll! It was 74 degrees on the dog walk and it's actually 73 degrees now. Clouds have moved in and we expect rain today. I noticed there was a rotten board on the wheel chair ramp and got busy and replaced it yesterday afternoon. I had to take off some framing to get it out and just replaced everything I took off with new lumber. I'm going to work a little bit today and get my sales tax figured out to send to the state. I might as well get my estimated tax figured and send it to the IRS as well.

Today I went to our Cracker Barrel, (the only one in Minnesota I might add), for the retirees breakfast, and found it closed for remodeling.
The sign says it will be closed for a week.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A very chilly frosty 27 this morning but the sun’s shining (for now anyway, I hear it may get covered up a bit) and we’re looking at 50 later. Nice most of the week with a rain shower or two here and there but nothing much. Today I need to put all my junk away from yesterday’s trip up north.

A warm 44 when I got up. Nice 17 degree difference from yesterday. Maybe the mid 50’s today as right now we have a partly cloudy sky. Some sun will sure help with the high. Should be a good day to be outside doing something.
