I have both US Flags and Confederate Flags.

The Confederate Flag may be frowned upon here,

but I don't know how to post pictures anyway, lol.

I used to have a really BIG, heavy and custom made flag pole at my former house (Former state.) and we always bought our LARGE - Made in the USA flags from the American Legion in a tiny village a few miles from our house in the country.

We had a POW/MIA flag too. You are not forgotten is on the flag too. Most of you know this flag too.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/POW/MIA_flag

My late husband and I made the flag pole. painted it white and we set it in the ground - super heavy steel.

I do not have a big flag pole here. I do put up a small American flag by my evergreen bush in a pot on my front porch. I had a bunch of smaller American flags in the back area of the house, lined up very nicely, but the raccoons stole them and what was not stolen was chewed up by them, moved, knocked down and the deer fooled with them too. We have a LOT of wild animals around here even though we live in town.

The Confederate flag never bothered me and I am a Yankee born and raised.

Have a good Monday.

I LOVE to see our American flags flying in the wind, on sail and power boats, on personal and public properties and in other important places.

Thank you for posting the pictures too.

God bless America!

Sorry guys - this is the best I could manage. Flagpoles are a bit thin on the ground in Runcorn!

Darn, I just took ours down...what was left of it. We get about 3-4 months out of a flag on the flagpole at the entrance to our place. The wind here literally shreds them. No kidding, the one I just took down was down to about half the size of it's 3' x 6'. Every year I put up the Canadian flag on July 1st which is Canada Day here. We have a ranch sign that has a flagpole attached to it. I'll have another one up before Christmas and will post a pic.

Yes, Coach. I have dual nationality. I was born in the UK, but spent 25 years working in South Africa.

I hope not. There's only one flag that we should never see waving here.
