32 with a high probably around 40. The local weather folks are still in bed so I’m not sure. Overcast, sure would like to see a sunrise.

Heading to the neighbors along with several others to watch the game. Trouble with game parties is it’s hard to focus on the commercials and enjoy the craziness. Host is prepping pulled pork sandwiches and all will contribute something. I’m planning on enjoying a few Alaskan Amber’s, my favorite beer.

Couldn’t care less who wins.

much cooler than yesterday, temps for the coming days are much more in line with our normal fall/winter .... periods of rain started falling after midnight and are supposed to continue through much of tomorrow .... don't anticipate the total rain will amount to very much ....

It's turned into a nice day here even if it's only 32 degrees. Bright sun and light winds.
After church we usually go for brunch somewhere, but today we have the kids all coming
out so we stopped at McDonald's. I was surprised with their new menu. I had read about it
but seeing it was eye opening. I had the double quarter pounder with cheese and bacon meal
while Carol just had a quarter pounder with cheese and bacon, (she had her own drink with her
in the car), we shared the fries.
We thought the food was really good. A step up from the old menu. The total bill was around
$19.00 so prices have gone up but they have every place else as well.
So when we travel with the RV, starting Thursday, we will stop at a lot of truck stops where all
there is is Micky Ds and now I look foreword to the food.

Incredible picture Vaquero.

Woke up to snow on the ground and in the air. We did get a winter storm advisory during the game last night. 1-3” of the white stuff but since it’s currently 32 I’m sure the roads are fine. The snow is supposed to stop here in a couple of hours and I doubt I’ll even need to shovel as it should warm up enough to melt off.

No plans for the day other than prepping the car for our trip to get the new pup. We will be going over a mountain pass in Oregon that has some recent snowfall but I’m not expecting any issues.

well, we didn't have a dark and stormy night but we are most certainly having an overcast and dreary day .... 56 now on its way to 62 with rain and thunderstorms moving out for the rest of today and into tonight .... so far the weather radar has shown the edge of the storm front is just south of us ..... if it stays down there, we shouldn't get much rain ..... worked on 2023 taxes this morning, started another thread about this year's frustrations

29 heading to 38 with a possible sun sighting this afternoon. That will be welcomed. But of course since we are driving six hours south tomorrow and then back home again on Thursday there is snow in the forecast for both days. We will be going over the Blue Mountain range located in NE Oregon and SE Washington where snow is expected both days. Thankfully not a big accumulation but we could see several inches in the mountains. Shouldn’t be a problem for our AWD Explorer but it will slow us down and add time to the trip.

Today is run around day getting ready for tomorrow plus normal stuff like Costco. Car is all loaded up with extra blankets and warm gear food and water for both us and the dogs. Tires are aired up and wiper blades replaced. As Willie sings, “on the road again”.

A man after my own heart. I always prepare for the worst on these kind of trips also.
I've got the new motorhome backed up to the house for loading, the old motorhome now in the shed, and
the old snow plow sitting out side. Tonight I will pull the new MH half way into the shed and plug it in and
on Thursday I will back it into the yard and put the old snow plow back in the shed and close it all up.
Thursday morning we'll be "On the road again".
