I didn’t shoot this morning but I did shoulder two rifles. One had iron sights and the other one was scoped. I can shoot right or left handed although I’m left eye dominate. So I naturally shoot from the left. My left eye was done yesterday so I just had to try it. Even though I didn’t squeeze the trigger I can tell already it’s going to be a huge improvement.

I'm very glad to hear that Gene. I'm glad both surgeries were successful!

It’s barely been 48 hours since my left surgery but everything seemed fine so I shot ten rounds of quiets.

I’m not sure how it’s possible because I can see better out of my left eye after just 24 hours. My right eye is 20/20 and my left seems to be slightly better.

Since I don’t have to wear glasses I bought a pair of uncorrected blue light glasses.

Todays plinkers we’re both Mare’s Legs. The first one was one I shoot a lot. This time I shot shorts in it because I can load it with 15 rounds. It reduced the number of times I stepped inside to reload although I loaded it twice outside. I’m beginning to shoot a little more serious as my vision now deems it possible.

I’m not supposed to be shooting so soon after surgery but I thought shorts would be okay. Then as I was putting the 22LR ML away this one caught my eye. It’s one I made from a .22LR ML and a .22WMR Frontier. It’s the only .22WMR with an octagon barrel that I know about. Henry never made one so if there is another someone had to make it like I did.

I plinked again today throughout the day as I worked around the homestead. I was shooting the Charger Mare’s Leg and tried to hit the spinners at 35 yards. I hit them a few times but missed a lot more than I hit.

Be careful not to strain those "new" eyes. :)

Walked over on the farm this morning where I have a 10" gong hanging. It's 100 yds from a little make shift bench I have setup.
Took the Rossi 357 and 12 rounds, walked pass the bench to the 25 yd target. Put 7 rounds in the tube and offhand I hit the gong 5 out of 7, put the other 5 in and hit it 3 out of those 5. So 8 out of 12 at 75 yds.

I bought two plastic cases that holds six ten round 10/22 magazines. I don’t use the tens much as I also have a lot of fifteen and twenty-five ones. The BX-15 are my favorite although I generally only load to ten.

Today I shot all three capacities loaded full.

I've never used anything but the 10s. I may try the 15s. Thanks for the tip.
