67 a couple of hours ago .... its dropped to 63 now and it will continue to drop .... by the mid afternoon the temp is supposed to be in the low 50's .... our all to short flirtation with spring has come to an end .... only thing on the agenda for today is watching the pro football playoffs

Here is the Pacific Northwest it’s a balmy 36 with a light rain. High today is forecast to be 46 which is way above normal. But it’s not unusual for us to have a January thaw. Some locations just south a hundred miles may see 55 today. Looks to be mild and rainy all week. Better than snow for us valley folks but not for the mountains. Poor skiers and boarders are having a miserable season.

Back to the shop today to finish my remodel. Getting there.

It’s 28F this morning. I got a lot accomplished yesterday. You might say I have all my ducks in a row.

My wife is making noise about getting a puppy which will mean we will have two dogs. I told her that would require a bigger boat so………

That’s how I got approval for a bigger boat. The second big dog took us from 14’ to 17’ and then in December I jumped from 17’ to 23’. Lots of room now for two meatheads to be along while fishing now!

My neighbor has German Shepard X puppies right now. I can get you into one for a low low price!

That’s how I got approval for a bigger boat. The second big dog took us from 14’ to 17’ and then in December I jumped from 17’ to 23’. Lots of room now for two meatheads to be along while fishing now!

My neighbor has German Shepard X puppies right now. I can get you into one for a low low price!

No German Shepard please. We’re Golden Retriever folks. She committed on a puppy yesterday and we will pick him up in two weeks. Cute as a bug. About a six hour drive away in Payette Idaho. I’m looking forward to the trip as we will be driving thru an area I’ve never been in before. Going over what is called Deadman Pass in the Blue Mountains, hmmmm wonder why it’s called that? Fingers crossed for a continuation of this mild weather.

Our boat is just under 18’ and is fine for us and the dog. But two big dogs……. I would really like to get a pontoon boat that is capable of both fishing and cruising and towing the grandkids on a tube. Saw a few yesterday that fit that bill. Our fishing is mostly trolling so a pontoon would be great for that.

I didn’t think you would go over Deadman going to Payette from Spokane. If you do it’s a beautiful drive.

My days conundrum… Nikon 4-12 or Burris 3-9 for the wife’s new Weatherby in .270 Win. I will, of course let her decide. I found some copper Hornady Outfitters to try too. Feds are for sighting in.

Thanks. I usually add saturation to my pictures. Some people like it and others don’t. I wonder if I will continue to do so after my second eye surgery. This is in my upstairs office.

I usually add saturation to my pictures. Some people like it and others don’t. I wonder if I will continue to do so after my second eye surgery.

I’m a Fuji Velvia shooter for the majority of my pro career. Saturation is my jam!
