I just went to GB, just to get a better look at them.
They also make one with a polished nickel finish.
I'd like to have the nickel finish receiver with the blued barrels.
To me that would be a nice look. ;)

Love their coach gun. Id have to opt for the 12 myself. Go for the supreme model, Ive seen some really nice wood on the stocks of those.
Please always remember to never forget, No matter where you go, there you are.

Miss Tina bought me one of the 12 gauge Stoeger Coach Gun Supremes as a Get Well gifts after a major surgery. It's a beauty. She looked at the ones they had in stock at Greentop outside Richmond before they moved to the new store... we had been longtime customers and they didn't mind letting her pick the nicest stock...

I had given them a lot of personal business, and then as a department firearms instructor, had equipped a lot of recruits there...

CGF, did you ever get a Stoeger? If so, which one.

I have to admit, I'd never seen the Supreme that you have Marine, until I bought one.

As an update, I have three of the Stoeger Coach guns. 12, 20 and .410. The first was a standard version used 12 ga in great shape, the second was a new standard version in .410, the last was a recent find, a used 20 ga Supreme. With the Coach gun collection complete, I have to say the Supreme is stunning. The stainless receiver really shows up the great bluing on the barrels.

The only one I have shot many rounds from is the .410. With 2 1/2 birdshot, I find no recoil. I plan to take each one hunting on my brushy property.

Photos to come.

Not yet, but still very much on my list. I'm still probably going to let the Ammo supply decide for me just before buying one. I would really like a 410, but may just go with a 20. Although I don't get to LGS's that often, I haven't been able to buy any 410's in years, although I was able to get some 9 Shot at W-M a couple of months ago. I got the last 2 boxes.

I've only seen a couple boxes of 410 locally all year, and they were $24.99 a box.
I left them there for some one else.

As usual, W-M has pretty good prices. I got those 2 boxes for about $16.50 each. Problem is, they usually sell soon after they hit the shelf, lol.

Yep, one of the guys that regularly works the sporting goods in the one WW I usually visit says that very thing.
Says their supply of them is Always small and that they go fast when they do show up.
Not a real problem as I have quite a few in various sizes from 4 to 9 shot.

Couple days ago the local Sportsmans had 4 boxes of 410 Winchester 7.5 shot for $21.99. I left them there. I also have enough on hand for the time being.

I see plenty of 20 gage here but very little 410.
I haven't had a chance to check on the 20's yet, but 410 around here is about as rare as 22's were back in the shortage days.

What I have noticed in the last few years is 28 Gauge and plenty of it too. And sure enough, I don't have anything that will shoot a 28.
Reading through this thread and was thinking this same thing. My local WM usually has some sort of 12 gauge ammo, and frequently has 20 gauge, but there is always a few boxes of 28 gauge there. I mean like every single time. It's all small shot size target loads, but availability is constant. I got to where I walk over to that ammo display counter and check it whenever I go into WM, and sure enough, there's always at least 4 boxes of 28 gauge in it.

Kinda makes me want to get one of those Hatfield single shots in 28 as an around the house, general purpose garden protector. I'd never use it enough to justify reloading for it, and that 28 gauge is a neat little niche cartridge.

Another question about a Stoeger 410 Double Barrel Shotgun. Those of you out there that have recently bought one, I'm curious to what is the place of manufacturer stamped on the gun itself?

Thanks

All the coach guns are made in Brazil and are good quality for the money!

I echo what Forty said. In large, bold letters E R Amantino, the serial number and Made In Brazil.

I have just recently put a coat of wax on each one. The fit and finish belie the price paid for them.
