Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
The Hybrid Wrangler has a turbo charged 2L engine. Not too impressed with the hybrid's all electric range, 21 miles on a full charge.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Coffee good. Looks like all week ahead is going to be great fall weather. Sounds like the world at large is becoming more and more sketchy and dangerous.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Fair, 28°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 29.82 in
Widespread frost, mainly before 9am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 59.
Light east wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
That weather report come from a station five miles north of us. Here it's 35 degrees.
I finished cutting all the trees that were encroaching on our parking area yesterday.
Today I plan to work on the old RV. I need to replace the radio for it to sell better.
Coffee is on the way.

This morning it’s 46 and rainy with highs only in the 50’s somewhere. We had a lot of much appreciated rain yesterday. Some rain today and then starting tomorrow a few days of sunny and warm. Friday it’s forecast to be 64 and sunny and I’m hitting the golf course for probably the last time this year.
Today it’s grocery shopping then Home Depot and the pharmacy. Good stuff to do on a rainy day.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
There's a slow and drenching rain this morning. The dogs are not adjusting to getting out on their walk. Right now, it's only 66° which is on the low side for this area at this time of day. I cooked pancakes, bacon and coffee for breakfast.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It’s a foggy 34 degrees out there, just a preview of coming attractions.
But, the outlook for the day is sunny and 59 and maybe mid 60’s tomorrow. My neighbor had a crew in yesterday who dropped several dead trees including a few nice sized ones. The crew limbed and hauled the limbs away and saved the trunks for me. So today I need to get over there and cut up and haul the firewood home. Perfect day weather wise for that.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
the biggest difference in starting yesterday and today for us is, its raining .... don't know the number but do know its dry and has been a while since it rained .... saying its raining is a bit of an overstatement, what we have is a light sprinkle that is expected to hang around for most of the morning .... 61 now on its way to 67 later today .... Maureen has a couple of medical appointments
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I did the firewood thing on Sunday. Waiting on the splitter that is making the rounds (pun intended) to come to my place. The owner of it called me last night and said he needs help recovering the largest mule deer he’s ever seen that he shot at last light and it then ran down a deep ravine, but left a huge blood trail. I guess I’m going to be sore tomorrow!
Apparently there is another huge 8 pt in the same area, and I have a tag to fill, so I’ll be packing my 7-08 as well. It’s open slash area so too far for any of my lever guns. I wonder if it’s as big as the one my bird hunting friend had in his yard a couple of weeks ago?

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A look of surprise on that buck! It was 61° earlier this morning on the dog walk. It's 69° and sunny. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast.

61 degrees
Coffee is hotter than that and that works well for me. I hope for a happy peaceful day for all.

Rain, 46°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed E 13 G 23 mph
Barometer 29.78 in
Rain and possibly a thunderstorm. High near 48. Breezy.
East northeast wind around 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Sure could have used all this rain a couple of months ago, but
we'll take it now and gladly.
Coffee is on the way. Indoor work today.

Interesting how the tree in the background is similar to the bucks antlers.Redthies wrote: ↑Thu Oct 12, 2023 10:09 amI did the firewood thing on Sunday. Here it’s 39 with clear skies leading to a sunny day once Mr. Sun shows up. High is supposed to be in the mid 60’s with rain coming back tomorrow evening. Hitting the golf course today taking advantage of one of the last nice days for a while.

It’s been raining for the last 12 hours with rain expected for the next 24. Temperatures are in the low 40’s with brisk winds from the east. It’s a good day to stay inside.
