Range Report: CZ 452-2E American

Post by Sir Henry » Fri Sep 29, 2023 10:18 am

This CZ wears a Nikon P-Rimfire and seems to be very accurate. It can hit the spinner every time at 50 yards. I need to put it on paper to see what it can really do.

Not surprised at all, given it is a CZ and your shooting. Most of my CZ Americans were dependable 1/2" at 50 yard shooters.

Not quite a half inch but under the circumstances I did okay. I just spent two hours on a chainsaw and my arms were tired. I didn’t count the two lower shots because I wasn’t seated properly. They were actually my first two shots.

Back to the range. This time I dug out a sand bag and used a more detailed center.

Five shots and four holes although if you look close at the center hole you can see it’s two.

A much more respectable group. Parallax taking the picture makes it look like the spread was bigger. Holding the gauge firmly to the paper is where I got the reading.

Elevation and windage was exactly the same.

It just occurred to me this distance might be bigger and it was.

Oh, yeah, that's vintage CZ grouping. Nice work.
