Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
82° and RAIN! Oh, my goodness! It's not much but anything will help. My grass in the back lawn is just straw. I'm going to have to do some serious resodding when it gets a bit cooler. Yesterday we got up to 98° but most likely will not reach that mark today with the rain and overcast skies. I just had cereal and coffee (lots of it) this morning for breakfast.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It's 57 F with rain here.
Coffee with plain jane this morning.
I wanted to shoot a bit, but it's a rainy mist outside right now. Perhaps it will clear off later.
I hope your day is great.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
as this is being typed its 82 degrees which is the forecasted high for today ..... beautiful blue sky .... 3% chance of rain, 0% chance of thunderstorms .... our day got off to an early start, Maureen's pup was spayed last week and had a followup appointment with a Vet .... she's been pronounced fully recovered and as being very heavy .... what we do know is she's back to her presurgery puppy exuberance ..... in short, she's once again wide open .... the family is pretty happy about it .... not much else on tap for today

Wind Speed NE 3 mph
Barometer 30.14 in
Cloudy, with a high near 66.

I finally finished installing the CB in the RV yesterday. That took a lot longer than I planned.
I need a haircut today and then I need to cut the grass.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Another balmy morning at 53. We had a nice rain overnight, not too hard just a nice soaker. High is expected to be in the low 60’s after nearly 80 yesterday.
Yesterday I cut down a half dozen dead trees including one of a decent size. I wanted to get the limbs piled and covered with the others I did earlier this year for winter burning. Yesterday I got all the limbs piled and covered but I still need to haul the firewood rounds up to the house. Even with the rain soaking the brush I’ll finish up today, I hate to leave work unfinished. Here’s the big tree cut up.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Currently 78°. We missed the rain yesterday. There was some in the area but very scattered. No rain is in the forecast today. The high is expected to be around 93°. I think we're past the 100° temperatures. I'd like to get out and start riding some more but business is taking time.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
44 this morning, the cold front is here. We had a nice rain yesterday morning which turned into a mostly sunny afternoon. Today we expect a steady rain with temps only in the 50’s. More rain thru Friday then it’s supposed to get nice, partly sunny and 50’ and 60’s for the high with 40’s for the lows. We’re leaving Saturday for several days up at our property for some relaxing and grouse hunting. Taking the Henry 410 along.
Yesterday I completed my tree cutting and limb piling. I have three areas where I have limbs from about 30 trees (mostly small) piled and tapped. Each area has a center burn pile and several larger perimeter piles that I will feed to the fire. I’ll do this when we get some snow.
This is the load of firewood I got this week. A start to the 2024-25 wood supply.

"Check Engine" is rarely anything serious. Usually has to do with emissions.JEBar wrote: ↑Wed Sep 27, 2023 10:18 am64 with an unexpected chill in the air .... high today predicted to be 71, mainly cloudy with no rain .... we've already dropped our 2005 Trailblazer at a local independent garage to figure out why the check engine light is on .... can only hope its nothing major .... funeral just before lunch .... mid afternoon medical appoint to pretty well fill out the day

It was 76° with 93% humidity on the dog walk this morning. We're leaving about the same time every morning but it's dark when we leave now and usually light when we return. It's sunny without any rain chance. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Coffee for me this morning trying to get myself going. Was sickly last couple days but about ok by yesterday afternoon which is good since i have a guy with a semi scheduled to haul big round bales for me... hope to get it in today with four loads. I have to go up and meet him at a gas station and then lead him to farm where hay is about 15 miles away from my farm. Then i have to use the guys tractor whom im buying the hay from to load the semi, and then go to my farm and unload with my tractor.... above average temps today here but both tractors have air .. so if something dont break, bend, bust, or blow out, i hope to get it all in and stacked today.. i shall be glad to have this chore done! So... now for second cup of coffee!

Overcast, 61°F, Humidity 94%
Wind Speed E 3 mph
Barometer 30.11 in
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 69.
South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Three colleagues have passed away in the last few days and I have three funerals I
should attend. I really don't want to but I should at least attend the viewing.
I have a lot of yard work to do as well when it dries a little more.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
66 earlier this morning. High predicted low 80's. But it's dry. Need rain, but none in sight for next several days.
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
42 with overcast but so far dry skies. High should make the 60’s unlike yesterday which didn’t get out of the 50’s. Starting Saturday we’re looking at a dry spell with sunshine and cool temps. So that’s the day we will be heading out for several days of fun. Today I’ll get the MH out of the shop and start the preps.
Yesterday was cool, rainy and gloomy so we decided to embrace the season change with a fire in the stove and a roast in the crockpot. Up yours old man winter.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was 73° this morning with heavy air (humidity). The old dog got her times mixed up and jumped on me a bit after 5 a.m. this morning. I went along with her ploy, got dressed and took the dogs for their morning walk early. I was surprised to see a bright orange moon setting and got a picture of it with my phone. It may not be the best picture but here it is anyway. I guess it's a Harvest Moon by my best understanding. I just had cereal and coffee this morning.
