I wonder how they would match up in the quarter mile?

I don't know, would be interesting.
I rode in one back in the spring, from a stand still,
they do have a pretty good launch.

Coach,
That striping makes the car. Nice touch. It will turn a few heads I'll wager.
I happened to see a 60's something at a fellows garage yesterday. It appeared all original too.

Good morning fellas.
I really like the way it turned out.
The stripes are 3M Glossy deep blue metallic.
The ceramic coating is over the whole car to preserve the paint and stripes Neutron.
I have never done anything like this to any car I owned in my life. I saw some pictures of stripes on some Mach E's and said to myself "I really like the look".
I was going for the Shelby blue look and I think I came close.
I have not tested it yet but I'm figuring that it's going to go 100 mph faster now

Funny you say that. Nope it is pretty much silent and doesn't rumble or smell of exhaust fumes and gas.
It does have a sound feature that comes through the speakers that gives you a subtle V8 sound though.
I drive with the sound on...

Ha ha, my F150 has a "throaty rumble" that comes over the speakers when I romp on the eco drive turbo. It isn't necessary, but I understand why they do it. The whine of the turbines might not be for everyone.
Coach, does the car have a speed limiter on it or can you max it out. If you have, what is max? (of course it would have been done on a private, closed course

)

It has a limiter @115 mph and I have not tested the limits. 90 is as fast as I have had it go on the freeway.
I got the Premium model vs the GTPE model which has twice the torque power.
I think that maxes @ 115 too but gets you there quicker.
Mine is plenty fast for me. I'm not a young crazy man anymore...

I just had mine undercoated, tinted and ceramic coated along with a spray on bed liner, film protection on front bumper and the mirrors. I get a throaty v-8 sound from the Hemi. Last call for Hemi, I took one to go.
The stripes and tint make that car!

Is this a daytime only car? I love the look of the blue stripes and the deep tint everywhere but in bad weather or at night it is dangerous. My used Land Cruiser 200 came with aftermarket tint, on top of the light factory tint, on all the windows and I had to remove it ASAP, because the first time I drove it at night I couldn’t see squat.

For those who don't know anything about Tint... the chart above could be confusing... the % doesn't refer to the amount of Tinting allowed but the amount of LIGHT that must be allowed to penetrate the tinted glass. Lower the number, the darker the tint is allowed to be. That is why the chart shows darker colors for lower percentages. You'll note that most of the darker colored states are states where HIGH temps are reached: Look at Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, and Florida.
In some of the states they also allow (some) Tinting of the windshield. I had a Clear UV protection applied to the windshield of the Titan years ago. No color in the Tint but it helps in protecting the dash and interior. Truck is a 2010 and the dash still looks new.

I’m not abiding by the law with my window tint.
It’s a fix it ticket out here if the Police decide to enforce the law.
This is Tesla world out here in the Bay Area and every other one is fully tinted.
I’m also not putting the front license plate on it either. If I get popped again a fix it ticket.
Most Tesla’s don’t have the front plate on them.

Very nice. I love the look of Tinted windows. I get migraines and in VA I had a medical waiver for tint. Here in Oklahoma I don't need one. The Tint makes a huge difference in the interior temperature of the vehicles. It does make it harder to see OUT at night, but I roll the windows down and use the mirrors to back up, and the lights on oncoming vehicles make them show up at night. We don't go out at night anymore unless we absolutely have to anyway. The old UTV had very dark Tint, but the new one just has factory tint. So far, we haven't changed that.
