Randy, got my order from Summers in TWO days! 500 200gr coated rnfp that look exactly like MB delivered for $66.00. Stoked!Vaquero wrote: ↑Mon Sep 18, 2023 10:21 pmI hear ya, I have been also. A little bit of ammo, but mostly components.
Did find a deal on some good SD 9mm Midway has Sierra 147 gr jhp for $9.99 a bx of 20.
I ordered 10 myself, free shipping over $75. Average like.58 cents a pc. for loaded SD ammo.
They still have some, I just checked.

Good deal, hopefully they shoot just as well.
Which I have no doubt they will.
I'm pretty stocked in the cast 45 bullets at the moment, but will check them out in the future.

Re: Very glad I load 45 Colt...
Just got a box of 500 Xtreme plated 200 gr. bullets for use in my 44 caliber guns. Had about 10 left out of the old box after loading some 44-40 loads. For some reason my Uberti 1873 44 Mag rifle shoots those better than same size coated MB bullet which are all about .430 and of course the new 1892 Winchester likes them as well.

Ha! Don't need the brass, just need to empty some handloads! they're all stuffed. My lgs usually has those in stock, if I ever need more.
I think forty was trying to enable me! Smooth character there.

Re: Very glad I load 45 Colt...
Im happy to have gotten into loading when I did too, about 8 years ago now maybe. I dont own/shoot/load many calibers but like yall I have dies, bullets , powders etc for all of them. I couldnt afford to shoot otherwise. I mostly shoot 44Spl, 44Mag and 357Mag, probably in that order too. I did however recently aquire a 454casull levergun that obviously will shoot 45LC so other than the 357's I shoot mostly "bigbore" guns and Ill ofthen shoot several hundred rounds a trip and that would get very expensive very quick if I didnt reload.
