That double oaked Woodford is some good stuff. I had a malfunction tonight with my margarita glass. I had to get a taller one than my usual size. The mixer wouldn’t fit after I got all the tequila and Grand Marnier in the glass. Sure was good though

Cheers brm...
Just got back home from taking the grandson to meet his mom,
he was suppose to stay the night, but about an hour ago he decided he wanted to go home.
So now I'm having a cold one and deciding on something stronger.
Thinking maybe something clear. ;)

My go-to of late has been the A&W Cream Soda with a shot of this cheapo coconut rum by a company called Kingston. The rum is about $18 for 1.75L, and it's only about 20% alcohol, but man those go down easy. I make it up in a tall glass, with lots of ice, and the whole can of soda and the shot fit easily, so a big glass. I'm an admitted lightweight for alcohol, usually like the sweet stuff, and for whenever we sit down to relax and watch a little TV before bed, one of these really hits the spot.

Usually on Wednesday we meet with friends for beer and wings at a local bar and grill, but yesterday
one had the covid and the others were all out of town, so, we went to our favorite supper club instead
and had a nice Filet with a salad and a baked potato. Carol had a nice red wine and I had a very nice
Tanqueray Martini. This place is a little spendy but they pay attention to detail and we are treated
very well. For us, it's a treat to eat there every once in a while. :D
