Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Fair 66°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed S 3 mph
Barometer 30.02 in
Mostly sunny, with a high near 88.
Light south wind becoming south southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 4pm.
Coffee brewing. The Township had a parking lot party yesterday afternoon as part of National
Night Out. It was poorly attended. Shame. I think it's always a good thing to meet your neighbors.
Today we drive to Faribault and bring the old motorhome home. It's been a couple of months in
the shop getting body work done. Turned out that several compartment doors could not be
replaced and had to be fabricated off site and then painted.
Now to get it sold.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
81° this morning. It' supposed to get over 100° again today. I'm almost afraid to take the little dog out for a walk. I'm afraid that he'll fall through one of the cracks in the ground and never to be seen again! I've got to go get an MRI today for the oncologist. The best news is that everything comes back clear and, if so, I won't have to get another one for eighteen months. I'm thinking about riding the Harley but the temperature will be in the upper 90's on the trip home. The bike needs the exercise but I don't know if I need to sweat.

Fog/Mist, 70°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 30.00 in
Mostly sunny, with a high near 90. Heat index values as high as 95.
Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Another steamy day with no rain in sight. We are in a terrible drought.
Coffee is good. We went to pick up the old motor home yesterday and the
repair company said they were not satisfied with the pair. It didn't match, so
we looked at it and agreed. We left if for another week to be redone.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
That looks down right scary.
51 here in the northwest with a high of 90 pending. This weekend the area is expected to get some relief from the temps and possible some rain. I’m about 20 miles north of I-90 and the weatherman said that the rain may stay south of I-90. That sucks, we sure need the rain. For the month of July we had only one day of rain totaling .12 inch. Anyplace I step that is not watered is very crunchy.
Fishing a couple of days ago was a (another) bust. Too hot I guess. Played golf yesterday and that was a good time. Got a little warm towards the end of the round. A nice cold pitcher of beer afterwards helped with that.

It's 90° this morning at around 11:00 a.m. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. I've got some work to do today but have decided it can wait! I'm going to be lazy today.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Morning , Friday indeed.
It has been a stormy one so far, the thunder woke a couple this morn, and raining pretty good out there now.
The power was out at some point as the clocks are blinking.
Hey, coffee is good and looks like I get the day off.
Currently it is 70, with a southerly breeze of 6 mph.
Predicted high is upper 80's.
Humidity is at 98%, and the the barometer is on the rise at 29.94.
Rained off and on yesterday from mid morning til mid afternoon,
then cleared off and was nice. I got the old Harley out and went for a little wind therapy.

We camp in a horse pasture with no hook ups, but good music.

50 heading to another 90 degree day. This is supposed to be our last 90 degree day for at least a week. Good! Cooling off this weekend with a chance of some stormy weather and an increase in humidity. Sure hope we get some rain here at my place.
Not much on tap today, I’ll get out and cut the lawn early but that’s all that’s scheduled. I tried to frick frack around in the shop yesterday but it was too hot so gave up.

It's already 88° this morning and highs all week are supposed to reach over 100°. We haven't had any rain in a month now and all the grass is turning brown and "crunchy". There's no rain in the forecast for the next week also. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Woke up to 61 this morning which is quite a bit warmer than normal. But we had a cloud cover come in overnight that held the temps up. These clouds are supposed to produce some rain for us over the next three days but unfortunately also some lightning storms. This week we have had several wildfires breakout in the area and some have been very close to homes. So far our firefighters both on the ground and in the air have prevented any loss of structures. It looks like some of the fires have been deliberately set as some graffiti was found in downtown Spokane saying “burn Spokane” calling out the city for spending millions but not providing any support for the homeless
.
With today’s cooler temps I plan to do some oil changes on some equipment I mow brush with. I’m hoping to do some mowing if we get the rain.
