Buying Ammo From Cabela's

Since moving back to Wisconsin, I have been buying much of my ammo from Cabela's. I order it on their website, and have it shipped to the store. Normally, I have few, if any, complaints; however, one thing that happens fairly often puzzles me.

This happened again today. Slickguns.com had a listing for some 22 LR at Cabelas.com. When I clicked through to Cabela's from Slickguns, the ammo was showing that it was available from Cabela's, and I was able to put it in my cart. If I went directly to Cabela's website, though, and clicked on the same ammo, it showed "sold out." Just to double check, I did the same thing again, and got the same result. Why do you suppose that is? Again, this seems to happen often.

Yep they have an app for that. Over at Calguns they had several ammo threads that gave out the apps. They are sometimes bootleg apps and only work a short while because Cabela's will eventually figure it out. Then someone comes up with another bootleg app.
