Hi there, just introducing myself so that when I ask my first dumb question it's not my first post.
Got a .44 BB Model X on order, so hopefully I can pick up by deer season. Chose it because it already has the fiber optic sights and like the larger loop without it being humongously large. This will be my first ever lever action, first ever Henry.

My plan is to break it in with some plinking ammo I've already loaded last year - 190 hard cast Midway bullets over 4227, before I get serious about working up an 'accuracy load' for it. Plan on using the 240gr Hornady XTP over 4227 for hunting.
