Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was 80° at 6 a.m. on the dog walk and now at 8:35 it's 84°with 87% humidity. It's supposed to get to 100° or over the next five days. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. Check out the T of T to see where you can get ham and eggs for 25 cents. You'll need a time machine though.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Fair, 61°F, Humidity 72%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 29.97 in
Isolated showers and thunderstorms after 5pm.
A high near 83. South wind 5 to 10 mph.
Lots of severe weather around the country while we remain in a drought.
We need rain but not the tornadoes.
I saw a snippet about a deadly highway crash in Canada but I haven't seen anything more
about it. Supposedly 15 dead and many more injured.

65 degrees earlier this morning, heading to around 90. Been a stormy week, especially Wednesday night. Lots of chainsaw use. So far not a lot of damage to houses and such, but power outages, some roads still closed, still a mess in some areas. Luckily, we was only without power for a day but still lots without.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was 83° this morning at 6 a.m. walking the dogs. I don't know what the humidity was but it had to have been at least 90%. We're under an "
Excessive Heat Warning" over the course of the next few days. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
61 and sunny this morning when I got up. High today of 78. Funny, 61 this morning and Tuesday’s high is forecast to be 53. June is always a pretty roller coaster ride weather wise here in the northwest.
Packing up today and making a grocery run as we’re leaving tomorrow for camping/fishing. With Tuesday’s forecast of cold temps and possible thunderstorms we may stay off the lake that day.

Woke up early to a very cool 47 with gusty winds. Just the kind of day to leave for the lake.
Some cool temps are nothing compared to what forty reported in his area.
Packing up and leaving around mid-late morning, should warm up a bit by then.

We could use some rain here too. It’s pleasant to be outside with no bugs but the crops are dying.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Sun Jun 18, 2023 7:34 am64°F, 18°C, Humidity 68%

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I didn't get out this morning as I've been having some ongoing bowel issues this weekend that isn't very pleasant at all. Needless to say I'm not in a great mood at all. I just had some cereal and coffee this morning. I think I may try and see a doctor tomorrow if the issue persists. We're supposed to recording record high temperatures through Wednesday this week.

Sunny, with a high near 88.
South southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Hooray, we got .3 of rain last night. It doesn't sound like much, but we're happy to get it.
Gene, it looked like you got a lot more over there in cheese land.
Went out to dinner last night for Father's Day. I had a really nice Prime Rib with all the trimmings.

I don’t think we even got your .3” coop. The deer corn dish was barely wet.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2023 8:05 amFog, 61°F, Humidity 100%

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It's already 83° at 8 a.m. I don't know what it was at 6:30 on the dog walk. We're supposed to hit 100° again today. Yesterday we got to 101° here in Sugar Land (reported at the Sugar Land Airport). It's just plain hot especially with the humidity. Right now it's 91%. Add that to the ambient temperature and the feels like is 95°. I'm still having some stomach issues so all I had for breakfast was a bowl of corn flakes and coffee. I hope this issue goes away. I feel a bit better this morning.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Sorry to hear about your bowel problems Shakey. I hope it resolves itself soon. We woke up to 63 degrees this AM. Right now it is 94. Had a pot of coffee and a handful of animal crackers with my dogs this morning. Have a demolition job to do before I start a new chicken coop build. It will be twice the size as the old coop. Gonna enlarge the run also.

Topped out in the low 40's yesterday, forecast for the next week is mid 20's overnight to a top in the mid 40's.
Son and his girlfriend are visiting next week, will be a big shock for them, living 2000ml north the lowest temp they have seen this year is just under 60 and their forecast for the next week is lows in the mid 60's highs in the mid 80's.

I saw the flag and was thinking that's pretty warm for your Winter but didn't realize that a good portion of Northern Australia is in the tropics.

Wind Speed S 3 mph
Barometer 30.04 in

A hot day coming up for sure. I'm painting the apron around our pool.
I power washed it yesterday. Hot work, but shady for most of the day.

The weather is HOT. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. I'm still having stomach issues. I have an appointment with my oncologist Friday. Maybe he can find something out for me.

Aus is much closer to the equator than most people realize, Brisbane is a similar distance from the equator as Miami, Townsville where my son is about the same distance as Mexico City. The very north like Darwin and the top of QLD are a similar distance from the equator as Costa Ricodave77 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 19, 2023 10:02 pmI saw the flag and was thinking that's pretty warm for your Winter but didn't realize that a good portion of Northern Australia is in the tropics.

Melbourne the most southern mainland city and it is the same distance from the equator as San Fransico.
Hobart the capital of Tasmania is similar to Detroit.
It is deceptive looking at a map as it is 300miles further in a straight line from Hobart in the south to Darwin in the north than it is from Perth on the west coast to Sydney on the east.
Just about to have my second Mocha for the morning 28 outside as the sun is rising, forecast is for patchy cloud and looking at a top of around 46.
