After the Brunch most of the group came back to our house and spent
several hours visiting and laughing.

Another beautiful day in the neighborhood, nothing much on schedule might just toddle off to range. Everyone have a great day!

Woke up early to a crazy 58 degrees. The house was pretty warm at 74 so I sat outside on the patio in the dark and enjoyed my first cup of coffee. Opened up the doors and let the breeze flow thru and not it’s down right pleasant in the house. High later of 88 with possible record heat later this week. Might see some thunderstorms for the next few days.

We’ve been shopping for a Class C Motorhome so yesterday I started prepping our trailer to go on the market. I can’t believe how much “stuff” we had in it. Between the interior and exterior storage I filled probably 10 big plastic bins. Where does all the “stuff” come from?

I gave it a good wash the other day so today with it emptied my wife and I will do a deep interior cleaning. I found a real nice 2017 Class C located a few hours away but so far I haven’t convinced my wife to give it a look.

Tell me about it. One year when we came back from the south I carried my shaving kit and a bag of my prescriptions along with a suitcase of my clothing in from the motor home. I then sat a wheel borrow by the entrance and it took Carol 7 wheel borrow loads to bring her stuff in, and that doesn't take into account all the things she leaves in there permanently.

Now with the new on when the old one comes back from the body shop I'll just park them side by side and she can just transfer it over.

You going to a Moho so you can tow the boat behind it? I find there is no perfect solution when it comes to campers. We had a Northern Lite truck camper for years, and loved it, but it’s tall to climb into, a lot of campgrounds won’t let you take it off the truck, so you have to break camp to go to the grocery store. Now we are back in a trailer (R-Pod for hunting and fishing, and 1963 Airstream for work and surf trips). The trailer is nicer since you can set it up and go, but then I can only bring the small 14’ flat bottom with 9.9 so fishing bigger water is sketchy. I wish we could tow double trailers here.

Weather is 91 to 95 all week. Lots of thunderstorms possible too. Both my brothers are coming to visit today and tomorrow so we’ll go and see if the fish are biting…

I bought a class A diesel pusher and lived in it for several months while looking for a new home. I only took things that would fit in the RV. Needless to say it was packed full and I could barely get around in it.

75° and muggy. It's not June yet but the summer weather is here. The clouds will keep the temperature down this afternoon as we're expecting some heavy rain. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast.

It’s sure dusty around here. The sun has a very pronounced red to it. High will be in the 70’s and the low tonight will be around 36.

I was wondering about that. It doesn’t seem dusty but I don’t smell smoke either. Not like in Washington. Sometimes it got so bad you couldn’t breath and it took a machete to slice through the air.

Yesterday we had a burn ban here because it was so dry and windy.

Yes, towing the boat behind the MoHo is the plan and on longer touristy type trips we will tow her Explorer behind it. It’s all just a comprise, no plan solves everything. I thought about a truck camper but in order to haul a camper the size we would want I would have to buy a new heavier duty truck. YIKES, that’s not a road I want to take at today’s prices. Funny, the “main” reason we looking at a MoHo is my wife would like to go back to being a passenger, not a driver .

After a couple of rumbles of thunder with some nice rain overnight this was today’s sunrise. Pretty darn nice if I say so. Playing golf today so I hope the rain stops here in a few hours. High today is 84 so it’s going to get muggy. (Yeah I know Shakey Jake, I don’t know muggy at all ) We have a community work party scheduled for this coming Saturday with lots of gravel moving planned. With the record heat forecast for that day I’m thinking we should postpone. 92 for Saturday and we can’t start until mid-day as we have a meeting scheduled first.

Another muggy walk this morning with the dogs. It's 73° with 98% humidity. We're supposed to get more rain today. The weather gal said that we're five inches over our normal rainfall for the whole month of May and we're just at the halfway point. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Just get one of these. You can tow your boat and have a small car in the garage. There's even one that has a pad on top for a mini-helicopter.

The moon was blood red when it set last evening from all the smoke from Canada.
Our new motorhome is too tall for our building by a few inches, so a friend and
small contractor is coming today to dig out the floor about a foot so we can get it in.
Thank goodness I never poured a concrete floor. He will scrape out the crushed rock,
remove the dirt and then put the rock back in.

It started off a bit cooler this morning in the upper 60's but is supposed to warm up into the upper 80's by afternoon. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast.
