SUPER WRANGLER®
SUPER WRANGLER®
Ruger introduced a new Wrangler. Might go good with a Henry .22 mag. Lever

Re: SUPER WRANGLER®
Not bad at all with 2 cylinders .
Re: SUPER WRANGLER®
Anything I've ever read about Ruger's two cylinder 22s is that accuracy is off (more often than not) with the LR rounds, the bore leaning toward the ever so slightly larger 22WMR diameter.
Admittedly I've only read this, but enough to stay my desire to own one.

Re: SUPER WRANGLER®
Mile, I've been shooting Single Sixes ever since they had the magnum bore size (tells you how old I am) and I can assure you that you'd be hard pressed to prove that the larger bore size is a big deal as far as accuracy with 22 LR. Talking well over two dozen Single Sixes in all kinds of configurations, dating all the way back to the mid 60s up to the present. To be sure, I've had Single Sixes with mediocre accuracy, but I've also had some Single Sixes with superb accuracy, every bit as accurate my competition semi auto 22 LRs, as in shooting from a rest for group size at 25 and even 50 yards. Just the nature of Ruger single actions in general and Single Sixes, specifically. Won't know what you've got until you get out and shoot one. I have no doubt the same is true with Wranglers.
Re: SUPER WRANGLER®
For me its been the choice of ammo. Long time ago I bought a bulk box of 22LR that is accuracy garbage. I still have most of it. I don't shoot it, cause its no fun.Anything I've ever read about Ruger's two cylinder 22s is that accuracy is off (more often than not) with the LR rounds...

Yeah, garbage in, garbage out. Every rare now and then, I've found an exception regarding a particular gun with a particular ammo, but otherwise pretty predictable.

And they have adjustable rear sights. Big improvement.

That was the first thing I noticed.
I may add one to the collection.

Re: SUPER WRANGLER®
How is the trigger on these? Most rimfire revolvers require too much spring…. I am not a fan of painted revolvers, nor of the many visible casting lines, but I can certainly appreciate the affordability and relative quality.

Re: SUPER WRANGLER®
I find the price to be a problem.
For the price of 2 SW, I can get a Ruger Single Six and change.
The few places that have them, like Guns.com($320) and Grabagun($300), charge $26 and $20 just to ship.
That's how much my FFL charges ME to ship a handgun.
