I just spoke to a long time resident and they drove off the road because they couldn’t see it. They also reported about a foot with higher drifts.

54 on its way to 70 in central NC .... no rain .... how we will spend today is very much open to question .... we may or may not be able to contact an appliance repair man to take a look at our dead dish washer .... depending on how that goes we may or may not drive to Lowe's to purchase a replacement

Our 80 degree summer days are over and we are receiving about a foot of snow. Currently we have half that much and it’s still snowing.

Looks like you had some wind to help with the snow dispersement.

Here it’s 34 with a very light thin cloud cover with the sun trying to penetrate. It’s supposed to be a nice day today so I’m going to take a break from firewood and do some spring cleaning (read raking) on the lawn. At least two to three weeks late this year but it’s just now dry enough to hit it with a rake. Plus all the plant beds still have a thick layer of matted leaves that got covered with our early snow last fall so I couldn’t get them picked up.

Maybe some rain tomorrow and then hopefully nice on Wednesday for my golf outing.

Morning, been moving since around 6, it's was 44°, sure glad I don't have to deal with any white dirt.
Suppose to be around 72 later.
Saturday on the way to the benefit I stopped to help the wife out at her mother's. While there my MIL gave me a little goody bag of stuff she's found around the house lately.
Mostly some old 22 shorts, the boxes are probably worth more than the ammo.
Anyway this was in there also.

54 here right now supposed to go to the 70's. I caught a bug Saturday so yesterday and today Im fighting with that. Sure was wanting to do some bike riding but it will need to wait.

It was 52 on the dog walk before 7 a.m. this morning. Currently it's 73° with a light wind from the NE. I had some chorizo and eggs, toast, and coffee for breakfast.

I took the chains off the tractor yesterday and soon I'll blade the drive.
Right now it's kinda rutted.
I have a Doctor's appointment in the city at noon. I hate to drive in there,
but he's a really good Doc. I've been seeing him for many years.

we awoke to another beautiful but cool 44 degree morning in central NC .... no rain in today's forecast as it gets up to 76 later this afternoon .... new dishwasher due to be delivered this morning .... with a club camping outing on tap for this weekend, we will begin the process of getting our camper and tow truck ready to pull out Friday

Somebody needs to call Wisconsin and let them know it’s spring.

Here it’s 36 and the ground is wet from an overnight rain. Possible 50 later but with the overcast skies I doubt we will get out of the 40’s. I spent the day yesterday raking all the winter crap from my lawn and it’s looking good. Now for some sunshine and 60 degree temps and next I’ll be complaining about having to mow it.

Now that I’m caught up on the lawn time to get back to firewood splitting. Hmmmmmm first I’m prepping for summer and the next day I’m prepping for winter. There’s something wrong here…

62° with lightening and thunder on the dog walk. It started to sprinkle a bit not too far into the walk so I turned them around to much dismay. I came home, ate a bowl of cereal, and went back to bed. I woke up a bit after 9 a.m. local time.

Too bad that once you do get to Spring, your Winter will start all over again in around 6 months.

That’s about right, six months of winter then six months of spring, summer, fall combined.

59 degrees to start. Thats more like it. Of course, the weather people say a possible freeze warning sunday morning. Thevup and down of spring can be frustrating. I guess coffee up, and proceed onward is what the option is. Enjoy the day out there.
