Ogema has a record amount of snowpack for this late in the season and flooding is expected. I live 70 feet below the highest spot in the state so no major flooding yet even the snowpack from the ten acres above the house could cause some problem.
I’m currently in Wisconsin Dells and it hit 83F today.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Fair, 61°F, Humidity 55%
Wind Speed SW 9 mph
Barometer 29.71 in
Sunny. Highs in the mid 80s.
Southwest winds 10 to 20 mph.
Wow! Our normal high should be 56 so this is unusual all right, but welcome.
The ice on the lake is out. Most of it just sank but on the windward side it's like
a giant daiquiri. The geese and ducks are already here and the eagles and gulls are
feasting on whatever dead fish floated up. It's noisy out there.

sweat pants this morning, shorts this afternoon ....48 on its way to 79 in Central NC with no rain .... first up is to deliver our last present from Christmas .... the gift is a meal for our 14 year old grandson at the restaurant of his choice ..... I came down with Covid Christmas Eve so the date had to be moved .... from that point on, various circumstances didn't allow us to reschedule until now while his school is on Spring Break ..... he's never eaten at the NC Seafood Restaurant located at the State Fairgrounds in Raleigh ====> https://www.myrvtalk.com/forum/rv-desti ... r-s-market .... if you like Calabash style seafood and are in the Raleigh area, its very much worth giving a try

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was 56° this morning on the dog walk. It's only warmed up one degree since then. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast. I reorganized the closet where I keep my reloading supplies. I've got plenty of brass and powder for sure. I haven't purchased primes in some time as I had a fairly good stockpile. I'm wondering if they are still hard to find?

Woke up to 26 with a hint of sunrise on the horizon and now it’s 27 with full on sunshine.
Still very frosty from yesterday’s rain but it sure makes for a pretty sight in the sun. Playing golf later and hopefully it will be a warmer day than last weeks outing. Last week was about the same temp but cloudy and very windy. Don’t expect either today, hooray. Still burning the wood stove daily.
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Warm weather has melted a lot of snow, our area has the only snow pack in the state so we don’t get the higher temperatures like rest of the state. Everyone have a great day!

Wind Speed S 12 G 17 mph
Barometer 29.68 in
Sunny. Highs in the mid 80s.
South winds 5 to 20 mph.
Come the weekend we're going back to our normal for this time of year temps
of the 50s with rain and it's going to be a shock.
Some of you may know that I got some ailment while in Arizona and I'm having
a hard time recovering. I still can't drink coffee so now it's milk and cookies.
I finally have an appointment with my Doc on Tuesday.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
we awoke to a beautiful but cool 44 degree morning ..... cloudless Carolina Blue sky with no rain today but a very soggy period moving in tonight .... with that being the case, our outside activities will be taken care of today ..... we have started taking care of a few spring task like like replacing a couple of screws that vibrated loose and fell out of our daughter's camper .... while they weren't easy to get to, no big deal .... greasing the ProPride hitch on her camper didn't take much time or effort .... nor did greasing the ProPride Trailer Saver hitch that is in the bed of our Sportchassis and is used to tow our 5er .... unless something unexpected surfaces, the major things that need to be handled before we leave for South Dakota at the end of May have already been taken care of

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Today is a "mirror day" of yesterday without the afternoon thunderstorm. It was 56° again this morning and currently it's 77°. I cooked bacon, pancakes, and coffee this morning for breakfast.

Sitting outside at my sons having my first coffee for the day at 5am, currently 75. a little warmer than at home at the farm where it is 42, 2500km further north makes a little difference.
Will be hitting the road in an hour or so and starting the trip home, big day today as we want to cover 600miles, will go through some pictures when we get home and put up a post of the road trip but wont be much to see today. Some sections will be over 100miles without passing a house visible from the road let alone a gas station or store.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Well good morning, it's 55° here this AM with a predicted high in the mid 70's.
Walking around the yard yesterday afternoon I spotted our first blooming irises, these we got from my mother's house.
We have "several " different colors and looks like more will be blooming shortly.

Wind Speed SW 3 mph
Barometer 29.66 in
Sunny. Highs in the lower 80s.
South winds 10 to 20 mph.
Tonight the weather turns and tomorrow it will be in the 50s with rain.
We love those Irises as well. We have a bed out front that came from my late Mother's house.
Of course ours aren't up yet.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
We will be leaving Wisconsin Dells today and the high 80’s and sunshine. It was nice to get away for a few days. I hear most of the snow has melted back home.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Woke up to 30 with daylight cracking the eastern horizon. Now it’s 33 and the sun’s up but behind some scattered clouds. It’s supposed to be a nice day with temps in the mid 50’s and we might possibly see some 60’s this weekend. After a day yesterday of doing nothing but hauling dog and wife to different grooming appointments staggered just enough to prevent me from getting dirty today I will start hauling all the rounds of firewood from the bottom of my property. Haul them up to the splitter in the woodshed and make some firewood. Good honest work with a satisfying result.
My kind of day!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
well, they forecasted today being a rainy one and, so far, they are right .... 62 degrees earlier this morning .... it is raining and is forecasted to reach 76 later with bands of thunderstorms moving through .... the Easter family gathering we planned for last weekend was rained out and postponed to today .... however, once again rain has stepped in and we've rescheduled for tomorrow ..... good thing we hide plastic Easter Eggs for the grandkids to find .... again due to the rain promised for today we mowed yesterday .... with the rain, cut grass really sticks to ones shoes

It was 58° this morning on the dog walk. It's a nice day today with partly cloudy skies and 74°at 11 a.m. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast. I just got up after a short nap with literally nothing planned for the rest of the day. I'll find odds and ends to keep me busy. I'd be on my way to the range if the wife wasn't working today.
