It's 74° and mostly cloudy this morning. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast. It should be a good day today.

70F this morning and strong winds with 30-50 MPH gust supposed to blow thru this afternoon. Hope no large limbs come down and our power stays on.
My Generac won't be up and running until Tuesday wouldn't you know!
Gene....is that a typical winter snow you are getting or more than usual?
We have had the third heaviest seasonal snowfall to date.

This link isn’t about Ogema as it’s too small an area. Rhinelander is about 50 miles away and has less snow than Timms Hill where I live. Ogema is five miles away and 400 feet lower.

Morning, a little cloudy this AM, we had some overnight rain. It was 58° when I got up about an hour ago, and headed towards the low 70's.
Had some backyard fun yesterday. 😏

39 on its way to 72 with scattered afternoon showers around this afternoon .... first up this morning - driving to Raleigh for cardiac testing and a followup appointment .... from there to Sam's to pick up a big box of chicken wings for a family Easter gathering .... after lunch we are scheduled to drive about 5 miles over to the next town where I'm supposed to pickup my first set of hearing aids

58 earlier this morning. 60 now and pouring rain. Looks like hard rain most of morning. Get soaked just going to shop so guess I’ll be in the house this morning.

Our Generac has been online since last Fall and has been used a couple of times. We love it.
Every Monday morning at 10:00 AM it starts up, runs for six minutes doing a self check, and then
sends me an email. It will tell me if it needs any maintenance or repair. So far everything has been
fine. What's really nice is that when we went south for a few weeks we could be sure that if the
power went out it would protect our home from freezing until the power is restored. :D

29 heading to 47 with overcast skies. Yesterday we had that typical April day with a crazy mix of weather from sunshine to nearly a white out of snow. Today we can expect a similar day but not as severe. On Wednesday I’m heading to the golf course for my first round of the year. 49 and sunny is the forecast. I would prefer a warmer day and by the weekend we may see 60. The local weather guy said this morning that the last day we saw 60 was October 20th. Only 5 1/2 months ago.

Today I plan to start dropping some dead trees on the back side of my property. They will be next year’s firewood. I split all the rounds I cut last year and it won’t be enough.

75° and mostly cloudy. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. I'm going to start on the taxes today. I usually wait since I get 1099 DIV's up until the end of March. Hopefully, I won't get any more and have to file and amended return. It's usually been safe to file at the beginning of April.
BTW I finally made it tot he range yesterday and shot some 22 with the Single SIx. I'll start making it out more often.

34°F, Humidity 81%
Wind Speed NE 14 G 21 mph
Barometer 29.81 in
Breezy. Rain likely and slight chance of snow in the morning, then rain and slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Highs around 40. Northeast winds 10 to 20 mph shifting to the east 20 to 25 mph with gusts to around 40 mph in the afternoon.

Not a nice day in tap but we dodged the worst weather which is going north of us.

its already 60 on its way to 79 later today .... a brief shower before daylight, now not a rain cloud anywhere in the state showing on radar .... the major thing on today's calendar is to spend the afternoon at our oldest son's home baby sitting .... we are looking forward to it

^^^^^^

Yikes BRM, it’s just not ending for you.

Here it’s 28 and overcast. Forecast is for the mid 40’s with another April day of ever changing weather from hour to hour. May even see some thunderstorms later.

Cut down a couple of dozen dead trees yesterday including some pretty big ones. Unfortunately two of the bigger ones got hung up in other trees branches so today I’ll have to take the tractor down there and using a bunch of chain and strap pull them to the ground. Dicey work that I’m not looking forward to. Sadly in my work yesterday I tweaked my back (haven’t had a back issue in years) so other than landing the two hung trees I’m going to give myself the rest of the day off. Tomorrow is my first golf outing and I’m hoping by taking it easy today tomorrow I’ll be able to swing a club.

56 on its way to 89 which is 1 degree short of our record high for this date .... no rain on tap for today but much cooler and wetter weather on the way for the weekend .... our family Easter gathering planned for Friday evening may well have to be postponed
