Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
its been a busy morning .... 47 right now on its way to 58, no rain in the forecast .... one of Maureen's nephews-in-law who lives in South Dakota works for Larson Doors .... they have a plant a little over 100 miles from us .... Maureen and our daughter are on the way to pick him up and bring him back for family gathering tonight ..... steaming fresh oysters will be at the center of the food for tonight .... I drove 65+ miles round trip this morning to pick them up .... they've been cleaned and are now in cooler awaiting going into the steamer pot tonight ..... Maureen and I will drive him back over to his motel tomorrow afternoon

49° with steady light rain. It is supposed to be even colder tomorrow. We're having a little bit of "winter" after having "spring" last week. I just had cereal and coffee this morning.

It was 28 when I got up several hours ago and now it’s a bright sunny 50 degrees out there. Just got back from a walk with the dog and it sure is nice out there. Went to a small gunshow in Blanchard Idaho this morning. Lot’s of nice guns there including a pre 31 Smith & Wesson 32 long revolver. The seller told me due to the grips on it it was made from 1920 - 1930. It was really in nice condition but at $900 it didn’t become part of my modest 32 caliber collection. Other than some 2400 powder I wanted but left behind at $49 per lb (offered $40, nope) nothing caught my interest.

6F and sunny and no wind. The calendar says tomorrow is the fist day of spring yet I look out the window and still see winter.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Morning, yep first day of Spring and would be mother's BD. Looks like Spring out there with the partly sunny skies.
Tomorrow is lookin a bit better, so hopefully spring has sprung.
One thermometer says 26 and the other says 27, and the 9 mph breeze makes it feel a bit cooler.
High in the low 40's, not sure what is on rap for the day.

In the 30’s today but 50’s the rest of the upcoming week, spring starts tomorrow.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
26 crisp ones out there but with a forecast high of 55 and sunshine I can deal with it.
Rain coming in overnight with a wet day on tap for tomorrow. Good, melt that damn snow away. I’m itching to get out and start my spring clean up. Some areas have cleared and I’m seeing lots of pinecones on the ground. With the early snow we got back in October the little mothers have been buried all winter. Might get out and start that today in between basketball games.
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
47 when I got up and its now 52. Still windy here and humidity is down to 47%. Not much going on today but I will get a walk in for some exercise.

Arizona
56°F, Mostly cloudy, with a high near 73.
Breezy, with an east wind 10 to 15 mph becoming south southeast in the afternoon.
Minnesota
18°F, Sunny, with a high near 38.
Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
Spring might be right around the corner but the temp difference is still dramatic. Still,
we are anxious to start for home.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I said in an earlier post we didn’t have wind. That was because I couldn’t see snow blowing. When I went outside there was a 10 mph breeze which was enough to really make the 6F feel sub-zero.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 11:12 amArizona

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
23 degrees earlier this morning heading towards mid to high 50’s. North winds again today, but not as strong, hopefully. Planning on tilling the garden but sitting here drinking my tea, and haven’t eat anything yet, tilling garden ain’t first thing on my mind. Guess I’m just lazy this morning.
