I also pronate and have some kind of metatarsal issue, it's been too long since I've been to a podiatrist to remember the exact description, plus a pretty messed up left heel pad from a motorcycle accident. I've never had my feet laser mapped but have had them plaster mapped several times.

I have several pairs of these Pinnacle inserts and actually like them better than my custom made ones. These have a metatarsal pad (my custom inserts also had this pad in the same location) which really helps my foot pain. They also have some inserts without the pad that are for pronators.

Brookes Beast - lightweight running shoe, very comfortable but probably not practical as a sturdy outdoor work shoe, great for walking indoors or smooth outdoor surfaces.

I highly recommend all of these, I have the Lowa's rather than the New Balances now as my size was not available when I needed replacements, the Lowa's are maybe not quite as comfortable but are a lot more sturdy, they are a highly thought of made in Germany shoe, they make an amazing number of different shoes/boots.

The doc gave me a list of shoes to consider. I ordered the Saucony Triumph. The Brooks Glycerine, Ghost, Pure Flow and Adrenacine are all on the list as well. There aren't any shoes from Lowa on the list but I'll take a look at them.

Good stuff Vaquero, I looked for the tippy cup of koolaid but didn’t see it.

Here it’s 30 heading to 40 with maybe some more snow showers on and off this morning. Had 4” come down yesterday and since it didn’t stop until late afternoon it’s all still sitting out there waiting for me to move it.

After plowing I’m heading up to a small town about 20 miles north to meet a guy who has some Speer bullets I’ve been looking for.

We barely saw 1/2” up here. If you were headed to Chewelah, there is a great coffee shop there right next to the old hardware store. I had the best chocolate chip cookie I’ve had in years there a few weeks back.

We had 5 whitetail and 22 turkeys in the front yard at the same time today. Crazy busy out there!

I’m enjoying the snow for now. It’s not like I have to be at work in the morning. The neighbor just plowed my driveway. He bought a new plow for his truck and is itching to use it. Yesterday I drove three of the neighbors to the grocery store and we all stocked up on goods. Then we played hand and foot. It’s a fun card game.

We drove to Apache Junction yesterday afternoon to visit friends. They took us to a Pizza place that has a HUGE pipe organ.
In fact half the building is pipe organ and they play it while you eat Pizza. Impressive and really good Pizza as well.

It was 72 here all night with wind. Wind is down some now but Im sure it will return. Supposed to be 80 today. Spring break here on the beach and there is a lot of people down there playing in the sand.

No, I went up Hwy 2 to Newport but we’re thru Chewelah all the time. I’ll check out that coffee shop, never met a chocolate chip cookie that I didn’t embrace.

28 and sunny here and thankfully no new s&*$ to plow. Supposed to get cloudy and rain is coming in later continuing into tomorrow. Rest of the week is supposed to be sunny and warm with highs in the 40’s. Sure hope this isn’t a false spring.

Don’t know what I’m going to do today other than change the clocks but whatever it is it will be outdoors. Yea!

Interesting, there used to be a similar place in Seattle called Pizza and Pipes that was like what you are describing. I can only remember eating there once in the 70’s while on a trip with some buddies. I looked it up and it closed in the 80’s and the organ was moved to a guy’s studio located in a barn. Wonder if somehow that same organ made its way to Apache Junction.

ETA: nope, just read your link Coop and it looks to be a different organ. Funny the Seattle place was the same with the long tables running the length of the restaurant.

It’s been snowing hard for the last 24 hours. Most of the area has 20-30 inches on the ground with some depths of 30-40 and 40-50.

I’m in the small area near the center that is showing 40-50 inches. Timms Hill gets a lot more snow than just five miles away.

Sir Henry, Too bad you can't save some of that white stuff and bring it out in July. Low tonight here in the Tampa Bay area will be about 74 and high Monday about 80. Then we have a mild cold front coming so Tuesday mid fifties for the low in the am.
