48°F, Mostly sunny, with a high near 80.
East southeast wind around 5 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Minnesota
28°F, Cloudy, with a high near 32.
North northeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

We drove up to Phoenix yesterday and had lunch with Carol's sister and her son.
We met at a Mexican place that was pretty good, but I hate the traffic up there.

70 here this am now up to 71. Supposed to peak at 74 today and I will be on the bike here after a while

30 with a blowing driving snow coming down sidewise. Forecast is for 3-6” but the storm arrived later than expected so hopefully it will turn to rain before it leaves the area. I hate moving wet heavy snow but it it keeps the accumulation down I’m fine with that. High is 34 and it can keep snowing at that temp.

Just planning on staying home today and watching the snow. If it ends early enough I’ll get out and move it around.

It’s pretty much stopping now up here at the border. Maybe 1/2” accumulation. It will cover up the mud for the day.

Supposed to get in to the 50s most every day starting Sunday. I’ll take it, but will believe it when I see it.

Coffee is tasting good in my color case hardened mug (Starbucks isn’t ALL snowflake apparently since they made a mug to match my favorite shotgun!).

I don’t know Red, kinda looks like the water in Ohio where that train load of chemicals derailed.

The storm we are currently “enjoying” is heading north but might track east of you according to the weather map. Hope so!

We drove over the pass to Rossland and Trail yesterday, and Rossland was getting absolutely hammered with snow. We got nothing at the lake. Fingers crossed for a quick passing of this stuff. (I picked up a lb of Pyrodex while in Trail, so will just need balls and patches to be able to shoot the .50).

Good morning, it's 40° here and headed towards 56 later. Calling for some More rain after 2.
The one grandson that lives close spent the night last night.
After our usual walk around on the farm, when we got back he was fooling around in his room.
He set this up and took a pic., the wife and I had a good laugh.
Guess he's been paying attention.

23F and another five inches of new snow starting this afternoon and continuing all night. I’m running out of room to put the snow.

Good stuff Vaquero, I looked for the tippy cup of koolaid but didn’t see it.

Here it’s 30 heading to 40 with maybe some more snow showers on and off this morning. Had 4” come down yesterday and since it didn’t stop until late afternoon it’s all still sitting out there waiting for me to move it.

After plowing I’m heading up to a small town about 20 miles north to meet a guy who has some Speer bullets I’ve been looking for.

Roger that. It’s March for crying out loud. Today is the St. Patrick’s Day parade in downtown Spokane. Should be sunny and 50 but it’s going to be rainy and 40.

They're finally predicting low 50's beginning on Monday and lows above freezing by end of next week. Hopefully no more snow, nothing like that 12 inches we got in the middle of April last year.

Morning is long and gone. I had a lot of work to do this morning, but I did eat breakfast. I just had coffee, cereal, and an apple fritter. It was about 70 this morning on the dog walk. The podiatrist says I'm a "protonator". I didn't know what he meant and damn near had it out with him until he explained that my affliction is caused by the way I walk. I've stressed the fifth metatarsal where it joins the cuboid bone over the years by my natural gait. The solution is to wear a well-supported running shoe with Spenco inserts until I go back to have my foot laser mapped and special orthotic inserts made. Other than that I guess I'll just have to deal with the pain until then. I can be thankful that nothings broken.
You folks up north may have snow in March but "us'ns" (or we'ens) down here have pollen. That's especially true if there are live oak trees in your yard. Here's what my driveway looks like today.
