Range Report: Charger Mares Leg

Post by Sir Henry » Tue Mar 07, 2023 2:05 pm

I plowed my driveway and walkway this morning so I rewarded myself with some afternoon plinking. I’m shooting at a frying pan near the berm not the pellet spinners up close.

That snow bank looks deep! Glad you got to shoot.

It’s about four feet deep. I have scooped some snow there but not much. Most of the snow on the garage apron was plowed forward. On the average I would say we have three feet of snow. In places there is only a foot so that snow is blown elsewhere.

Glad you still had a target to shoot at with all that snow. I made a trip out to the range today, but the conditions were sightly better. We had lots of sun with temps. in the 60-65 F range and a light breeze.

It's good having you own range to shoot at. :D

No wonder all of you shoot better than me. I can't even see the frying pan. Tried to add a smiley face. Didn't work

The firearm was scoped although I can hit it with iron sights.

I can barely see the frying pan from the driveway where I normally shoot. This picture was taken from the upstairs office window.

Even the front pellet spinners are almost buried.

That patio furniture looks very sad. Having said that, the drifts look almost artsy. Of course I don’t have to move them so it’s easy for me to appreciate the beauty in them. :D

The metal furniture will look like new with a rattle can of paint. The poly furniture is made from old milk jugs and stainless steel. They don’t rust or fade and are made to be left out all winter.
