There are plenty of Bluegrass venues around here for those that are into it. I don't dislike it...I just have to be in the mood. As you mentioned, a bit of moonshine helps.

Bluegrass is OK I guess, can't get too excited about it. A lot of it sounds too much the same for me.

Here's one I just ran across when looking at a Miata video. I guess she's very good at whatever kind of dance that is, really like the bass and violin (ok, fiddle) but I looked at several more videos of her dancing and like I said the songs all sound too similar to me.
I'm always impressed by really good upright bass and violin players, must take a lot of practice to know where to put your fingers since there are no frets.
