Coffee and cookies are done, I'm packed and ready to transfer it all to the Winnebago. With the weather coming in
I'll get the tow vehicle hooded up and we're outa here!

68° and muggy with a gulf wind gusting to around 20 mph ahead of rain coming through the area in an hour or so. It's supposed to get up to around 80° only to fall to a low of 34° by Thursday morning. Got to love the up and down temps during this time of year. I just had cereal, toast and coffee this morning.

65 here this am headed for 71 today. Happy Valentines Day. Headed out to bust some clays later. Always a good time when pullin triggers get involved. Cereal and toast will get the day rollin and some shrimp for dinner awaits

28 heading to 40 later. Currently overcast but we are supposed to see the sun this afternoon. Not much on tap for today other than hanging out with my valentine.

beautiful 33 degree morning .... its already up to 62, going to 67 .... tomorrow looks even better .... after spending most of yesterday with medical appointments and test driving vehicles, the only item on our agenda is to pickup our 6 year old grandson after school .... according to the IRS website our Federal Refund should be sent to our Credit Union today, as of right now that hasn't happened

We're in Osceola, Ia. this morning. Coffee and cookies are done and we need to get moving.
We have spent the night here many times in the past and it's a small casino with a camp grounds.
There are two rigs here this morning. The casino buffet is closed, in fact the restaurant is closed.
The parking lot is empty. My guess is that Covid ruined them.
It's 32 degrees and windy with a Winter storm predicted for tonight.
We're outa here.

44F with 51% humidity. The temp is supposed to rise to 60 or so today. Unheard of for mid February.

Coffee this morning with "plain" jane.

With good weather, I may tackle an outdoor job or two.

Mild weather continues and for now looks like spring is here with things blooming. Found a local builder who is going to start on my deck build on my side lot cabin. The price was right with materials to my specs and it will save me some sore muscles for a change. Have some cleanup to do in that area today.

17 heading to 37 with the sun starting to peek over the horizon. Supposed to hang around all day. Nice thru the weekend but maybe, just maybe we may return to snowy weather next week. I have mixed feelings about that, we could use more snow pack but it sure has been nice to not be out plowing and blowing these last several weeks.

Big event for today is to re-mount the scope on my AR 300BO. I put it in regular rifle rings and I don’t like the way it mounted. Picked up a cantilevered AR specific mount that should work out better.

A late "morning" report today. I had an early doctor's appointment, so I left the house early today. It was 67° this morning on the dog walk. Currently it's 78° and cloudy. The temperature is supposed to drop drastically into the upper 30's by tomorrow morning. That's life in the winter in SE Texas. I cooked some bacon, eggs, toast and coffee before firing up the Harley to ride to my appointment. I then took my car in for servicing, got lunch, and now am at the computer.

We're in Oklahoma City this morning. 28 degrees and partly cloudy with gusty winds.
At home its 12 degrees and windy.
We'll spend three nights here de-winterizing and resting. We've been here many times and feel almost at home.
Coffee and cookies were just fine this morning.
I am horrified to say that while trying to get into a propane pump yesterday I sideswiped a post that was protecting some pumps
with the motor home. I was concentrating on not hitting my right mirror against a chain link fence while the left was scrapping
the post. In my 64 years of driving I have never been so careless. Everything still works but it looks terrible.
The biggest damage is to my pride.

Sometimes s**t happens Coop. Sorry to hear about it. I bet it can be fixed and you wont even know. Wallet might a little lighter. Couple Martinis and it will make you feel better. I know we all have done it or at least I have more than once. Windy here with the temps falling to the mid 50's. they were calling for rain but it hast arrived yet. Im sure it will as I washed and waxed ole red yesterday. Shes lookin pretty good for 17 years of age.
