Fast and Furious, just don't blink ! ! ! ! I bet it was fun in the wind ! Wish I was there !
Do you buy your shot local RnG or online. Local club here has it for 55.00 25lb bag. But Ive checked around where I live and cant seem to locate much. I see roro metals has it for 70.00 delivered if you buy 150.00 worth.

I have not had any luck finding shot in any LGS. I have to order it online. I have ordered from rotometals (right now they have (2) 25 lb bags of 7.5 Eagle Magnum for $140.00 with no shipping fees. I have also used Powder Valley, Precision Reloading and Ballistic products for shot and wads.

$55.00 for 25 pounds is a pretty good deal.

Are you able to buy once fired hulls from your gun club? Unfortunately for me I am so rural I have to drive an hour and a half to get to a trap/skeet range. Most of my trap is from my Champion launcher on a wobble base.

I bought some hulls from Billy D’s supplies. Remington STS hulls. Bought 500 last year. They are good hulls. Been using Universal Clays and a claybuster wad with 8.5 shot. Think we are using bushing 21 for powder.

Hey Al, good to hear from you. Glad to see that you're diving into shotgunning. It is fun; just another aspect of shooting. Enjoy!

Thanks Tom. Last year in Texas I got into skeet shooting with the guys down here and have just been doing more of it this year. Its humbling shooting skeet. Just bought a CZ Redhead Target in 20 ga. Love the gun.

What do you figure you have in loading a 20ga shell RnG? I just did some math( ya I know thats hard to believe) I come up with .34 cents each. Im seeing shells for sale close to that. This reloading shotgun almost isnt worth it.

I only load 12 gauge, and the math is beyond me (I even used a calculator, rubics cube and a metric slide rule) and couldn't figure it out.
Same thing in Az, for whatever reason shotshells are a heck of a better price than metallic.

Even at that, I would rather store empty hulls and components than a case of shot-shells and load as I need. Anyway, keeps me off the streets at night!

Loaded 50 45 Colt 250gr Nosler SHG JHP with CFE Pistol for the locked ammo cabinet. Won't be there long. I plan to shoot them soon.

Nice looking load of lead. I like the size of .432" for both the .44 mag and the .444.

That's about the going rate on those Al.
Both 12 and 20ga., the last few times I've checked, $33.95 + tax of course.
I have at least a 10 boxes of each that I bought year before last at $22.99 plus tax. ;)
Did very little shotgunning last yr.
Now if we can just get some 410's to show up. :o
Not that I'm really hurting, I just like to know they are there if I need a few. ;)

I had my neighbor check in Greeley if he was at Walmart. Nothing there. This ammo thing I think really depends on what part of the country you are in. Down here in Texas at the local Walmarts there is 12ga ammo all over the place. Limited quantities of 20 ga and what we have found is about 8 to 10 100 packs. Cant load it for that. 22LR is stuffed in every lockable glass case available at Walmarts. I havent seen this much 22 in quite some time

Shotshells were hit and miss most of the summer, but have become a little more regular of late.
And yes 22lr has been plentiful for quite some time.
