Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Partly cloudy today: A low of 5 and a high of 25; currently 13. Went to mass, waiting to Skype with the Danes. Bunch of us old geezers are having a group birthday dinner, since none of us can remember each other’s birthdays, we celebrate them all at one time. Everyone have a great day

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
43 on its way to 48 with steady rain falling .... in short an ugly day in the neighborhood .... hauled off a truck load of recycling this morning .... the load has been accumulating for a couple of weeks, glad its gone .... hopefully the weather for the rest of this week will be much better
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Currently 30 and was 29 when I got up five hours ago. A little bit of filtered sun now but as John mentioned above we received about 2” of snow last night. Just enough to make me head out with the shovel. Pretty quiet day ahead other than moving a little snow.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Fog/Mist, 7°F, Humidity 85%
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 31.
South southwest wind 5 to 15 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
The coming week doesn't look any better with even some more snow.
I've got some reloading work to do today which will keep me inside and warm.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
yesterday's all day rain has moved on .... currently 46 on its way to 52 under a clearing sky .... they are calling for 6 hours of subfreezing temps tonight .... we keep our food vacuum sealer in our camper .... today we plan to spend some time out there cutting and vacuum bagging a variety of meats that we purchased in bulk .... I also hope to activate a new Direct TV Wally
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
26 heading to 30 and it looks like the sun is coming up behind a heavy cloud cover. Might see a slight amount of snow this morning, just enough to make the roads slick. Looks like starting this coming weekend we are looking at another arctic blast. Might have lows in the single digits and highs in the teens.
Nothing on tap today, might take the dog for a hike as the remaining snow is frozen and we can walk on top of it.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was 43° on the dog walk earlier this morning. Currently it's 47 °. Rain is forecast for tomorrow. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

About the same here a few miles away from Mags. A cinnamon roll and milk, to help settle my stomach after taking my "Meth and Acid". I take Methotrexate and Folic Acid for my rheumatoid arthritis ..........

Fair, 12°F, -11°C, Humidity 92%
Barometer 30.09 in
Patchy fog between 9am and noon. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 31.
West wind around 5 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
Coffee is brewing.
I'm having our driveway sanded so I can get the motorhome out to be serviced prior to our trip south.
Our oldest daughter in Buffalo, NY called Carol last night in a panic. She had sent me a text in the
morning which I didn't respond to, and then she'd tried to call and I didn't answer, so she was afraid
something had happened to me. Love her to pieces. She's been my little girl all her life. Well anyway,
I had my phone on silent and forgot to put it back on normal after church Sunday.
I called her and we talked for a long time. She's a practicing Phycologist doing drug and alcohol
rehabilitation work. She's really smart.

I feel for you, I haven't done taxes since I married a Lawyer.
Last evening Carol took some really good hot dogs, split them and added some cheese,
and wrapped them in bacon. They were really good.
Bacon makes anything better.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
We've got a stormy day ahead of us. Right now it's 53° just two degrees warmer than it was on the dog walk. There is a steady wind of 12-15 mph and gusts I would say closer to 25 mph. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast. An interesting story (follow the link) about Britt Johnson in the Traces thread today.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
30 heading to 35 and as the sun comes up it looks to be pretty cloudy out there. Maybe a snow flurry this morning but nothing that should require a shovel. Heading into the weekend we are expecting another Arctic blast out of Canada but first some snow, 1-4”. Come on spring.
Nothing planned for today, sure hope I can stay out of mischief.

Just curious, is she a Phycologist or a Psychologist? I'm thinking she's a Psychologist and spell check didn't work because Phycologist is a real word although I've never heard it before.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Tue Jan 24, 2023 8:31 amShe's a practicing Phycologist doing drug and alcohol

phycologist : One who studies algae as a profession.
A psychologist is a professional who practices psychology and studies mental states, perceptual, cognitive, emotional, and social processes and behavior.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I'm not the best speller either, I rely quite a bit on spell check but you can fairly often spell the word you meant incorrectly but it is an actual word so spell check doesn't catch it.
