Not much scheduled today other than watching the Seattle Seahawks play the San Francisco Fourtyniners at 1:30 and the Gonzaga Bulldogs taking on the Portland Pilots at 7:00. Not much hope hope for the Hawks but the Bulldogs should handle the Pilots fine.
They've lost the last 2 to SF so maybe due for a win.

I think if Geno, Walker, Lockett and Metcalf have a good day they have a decent chance of winning.

It’s 22F outside and 68F inside. My floors average about 85F. Gotta love radiant heat.

I thought they had a chance until Geno fumbled the ball late in the 3rd, if not for that they most likely would have got a field goal and only have been down 3 points. They pretty much fell apart in the 4th and SF started playing very well.

They did have a lot better season than expected, winning season, made the playoffs and have the 5th place 1st round draft pick.

35 and maybe 43 later. Rain overnight and more this afternoon. A mild week ahead followed by a return to more normal temps with lows in the lower 20’s and highs in the low 30’s. We’ve been getting quite a bit of rain here in the valleys but the mountains are accumulating a lot of that wonderful snowpack.

Absolutely nothing today, don’t have a clue what I’m going to do. For now it’s coffee and keeping the fire going.

It was 53° this morning and already up to 67°. I cooked pancakes, bacon, and coffee for breakfast. The day is filled with yard work duties that I've neglected.

Mostly cloudy & 34: low of 24 and a high of 35. Had a Skype with Denmark family, went to Mass, now settled in watching playoff football. Everyone have a great day!🇺🇸

32F and raining. The neighbor just called me and said the hill on Ring School Rd was slick and he slid down the hill. He knew I was planning on going to go to Wisconsin Dells today and advised me to go later in the day.

Overcast, 34°F, Humidity 93%
Rain. High near 36. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.
New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Barometer 29.54 in
Well, this should be interesting. Rain on top of ice and snow.
Coffee coming up.
Had my good friend from up the road use his Bobcat to widen our drive yesterday. I'll pay him of course,
but he doesn't gouge me. The plow can only push the snow so high along the driver and then it starts
to narrow the path. I'm going to need to get the Motorhome out soon to get ready for our trip and there
wasn't enough room. Now when it gets done raining and turns to ice I'll have another guy sand our drive
with granite chips.

Currently 72° this morning. It's supposed to get up to 80° the next couple of days before a "cold" front moves through on Wednesday afternoon bringing some showers. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast. I got the gutters cleaned out and the lawn work taken care of yesterday. Today will be doing some housework and practicing.

Currently it’s 36 with a light rain falling. Maybe some sun breaks this afternoon and the upper 30’s to 40. Once again, not much on tap today, it’s that time of the year. I do need to fill the firewood rack on the patio so yippee for that.

Thanks for the link on Arizona water Mags. I read recently the report from the new Governor about the West Phoenix housing development possibly being stopped. That’s a lot of new homes, I would think that the established residents would revolt if that size of development were to be created. Crazy. But I do appreciate the info and I’m pretty much done considering Arizona for a new home. I’m still thinking about renting an RV space for the winter and might make a trip there in March. But with the big vet bill I just paid I may wait until next year. We’ll see.

From the piece Mags linked to.

“Gov. Katie Hobbs unsealed a report showing that the fast-growing West Valley of Phoenix does not have enough groundwater to support tens of thousands of homes planned for the area”
