Except for frozen drifts melting, our snow is almost gone. Looks like 40’s all week.

I’m surprised to hear that. Still a couple of feet here and five foot drifts.

Tomorrow is range day, will be windy but I am taking my small 6" steel gong and will attempt to ring it many times at 50 yds off hand with the 'ol flintlock.

Up at 3 am to take my son to the train station in dc. He heads back up to Norwich in Vermont today. It's been fun having him home on break. He's excited to get back to his school, though.

45 and clear this morning while coffee brews, only getting to 62 today but it'll be sunny so still T shirt weather, gotta go to town today for metal fence posts. Probably shoot some 9mm reloads this afternoon

Coffee is good and so are the cookies.
We're up early for church then I need to put the finishing touches on the Loom I'm making for our daughter.
They're coming out from the city this afternoon and then we'll take them to her favorite Steak
House for her birthday dinner. It should be fun.

much cooler day on tap .... 37 on its way to 45 with an 88% chance of rain .... according to the weather radar, the rain is a couple of hours east of us and is headed our way .... we are once again free to pretty much go and come as we please but we don't have anything on tap for this week .... medical appointments are creeping back into our planning for week after next

8F, no wind and mostly clear skies. Off to church in two hours and then maybe go for a drive to see the heavy frost over the two feet of snow.

Looking east toward Ring School Road. You can see the tower on Timms Hill on the horizon. I shoveled just enough snow on the front deck to stand and shoot spinners with my Red Ryder.

Here it’s 35 and overcast. Looks like we got a little rain overnight but it’s not raining now. Today should be in the upper 30’s with rain this afternoon. Good day to stay indoors and watch the Seattle Seahawks play what will most likely be their last game of the year. Planning on putting a beef roast in the crock pot so the afternoon football aroma should be wonderful.

Looks to be a mild week, we’re slowly getting rid of the snow down to probably about a foot or more left to melt.

It was 55° this morning on the dog walk. I don't think it's much warmer but checking it says we're up to 63° currently. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee this morning. I'm going to take it easy one more day to see if my back problems don't settle down.

About the same here in Wenatchee. 37 right now, only got down to 35 last night, been getting a light rain since yesterday. Going to see if I can plow up some of the ice/slush in my driveway and back yard after the Seahawks game. I'm also getting ready to put a roast in the crock pot.

I have a retirees breakfast this morning, so coffee here and then more coffee and
breakfast with old friends. Lots of comradery.
I gave the daughter the loom I made and then took them out to a fancy dinner for
her birthday. She was quite pleased.

44 on its way to 54 ..... they say there is a chance of rain around noon .... don't really know where that prediction comes from, according to the weather radar, there isn't cloud in the state .... out temp tonight is supposed to fall to just below freezing for about 7 hours tonight .... as has pretty much become the norm, not much on tap for today .... medical appointments resume next week

It was 48° this morning on the dog walk but is supposed to get into the upper 60's and by Wednesday, the 80's. I just had cereal with blueberries and blackberries along with my coffee this morning for breakfast. I'm hoping my TCU horned frogs can pull off another miracle tonight! Rah, Rah, TCU!

29 heading to the mid 30’s. Looks like we will have some sun this morning turning to rain this afternoon. Might be wet snow for me but little chance of any accumulation. A mild week ahead is forecast.

Another day of not much going on other than I need to split some kindling. Been going thru firewood at a higher rate this year due to the early very cold temps and I don’t think my supply will make it to spring. Good thing I have a backup called a furnace. LOL Next year I’ll split more just in case.

I gave up splitting for kindling. I buy a 35lb box of fatwood from Plow and Hearth. Lasts about 3 yrs. I use 2 sticks with normal sized wood in the wood stove to start. I've tried other brands, but they didn't start as well. A lot of burnouts without starting a fire.

Sunny/Hazy this morning. 47. A little breezy. Waffle, bacon and tea.
