Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Bacon ,scrambled egg and cheese on homemade bread with a few cups of coffee. At about 8:20 a.m. New Jersey time it's 50degrees with a unseasonably high today of 67. Everyone stay safe and dry on this 12th day of Christmas. Happy New Year to all.

56 on its way to 67 later this afternoon .... a mostly clear sky with spotty clouds .... after being very soggy yesterday, no precip on tap for today .... no small or big events slated for today

53 here and raining pretty good now and most of today. Maybe watch a western or piddle around in shop[maybe]. Wife asked me to make chicken fried rice. Being Asian, she knows how its done and showed me. So, while she's at work, guess I'll make some. Give me something to do. Gotta appear productive ya know.

I was just thinking about you Rifletom, watching the news coverage of the bomb cyclone hitting California right now. Best to you and everybody.

Here it’s 30 heading to 35 with wet snow or rain later. Windy today with 20-30 mph winds. Hoping for rain as I’m tired of moving snow. No plans today other than installing new shower heads we picked up yesterday. Also a longer hose for the and held shower head. Easy peasy.

It was in the upper 40's on the dog walk this morning. Right now it's 63° with a lot of Hill Country cedar pollen blowing in so the allergies will be a little bothersome today. I just had cereal with some blueberries and blackberries sprinkled on top along with my coffee for breakfast.

Power is back on. Wind is gone. 49 calm and overcast. Tea, toast with honey and yogurt cup. Later will take a walk about and size up the storm damage from last night. Storm was centered on Northern California, but the wings of it affected the entire west coast, BC to southern California.

Around 3 to 4 inches of wet snow last night, 37F right now and the snow is already sliding off roof. Going out to shovel and plow. Very many more snowfalls like this and I definitely will have to hire the guy down the road with a front end loader to come up and move some snow.

We got dumped on. I measure 15 inches of snow in the last two days. I've been
moving snow for two days as well. The old 83 Bronco worked well as a plow
and the 1947 Ford 8n with the loader got a workout. I can only plow it so
high and then I have to pick it up and dump it over the edge so we have room
for vehicles. Now it's turned cold.

15F and heading to 6F. Heavy overcast and an inch of ice on everything. Yesterday I was snowed in and had the neighbor plow me out enough that I could finish the job with my tractor. I froze my toes till I came inside to take off my shoes and walk on the radiant heated floors.

I need to go into town today to get groceries and put down a deposit on the new van I ordered. Such is live in rural Wisconsin in the winter.

Oh I do get to plink daily. I don’t always post but I do shoot almost daily.

It was 51° on the dog walk this morning. Right now it's 64°. Robyn has taken Karen to the doctor this morning and then has another appointment this afternoon with her at the medical center. It's going to be a long day for them for sure. I've got a bit of work to do so will get onto that shortly. I had bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

30 when I got up this morning and we are looking at the upper 30’s with maybe some sunshine. Hope so, I want this dirty ugly snow gone. Not much on tap for today other than just trying to get outside and do something. Glad I don’t have the upper mid-west snow to deal with. Best to Gene and Coop.

We have snow canyons. We were in the city yesterday and you have to proceed around
the 25 ft piles of snow with care because you can't see what's coming.
My Explorer has been rear ended twice in the last week while I was sitting at a stop sign.
No damage to my vehicle, but theirs's didn't fare too well. Bumper hitch got them.

I leave my trailer hitch on my Subaru as an extra degree of protection against a similar height vehicle.

44 degrees under a mostly cloudy sky .... they say it will get up to 55 but they also say its raining right now and there ain't a drop anywhere near us .... about the only thing on today's agenda is to spend another day recovering from Covid and Flue

Coffee and cookies are done. Now shop work.
I visited my Doc yesterday and he confirmed a Sinus Infection and gave me anti-biotics
and Prednisone for two weeks. I think this is a leftover from when I had the Covid.
Hang in there JE. It gets better eventually.

It was in the low 60's early this morning and now reaching the mid 70's. We're supposed to get some rain later in the evening. I just had a bowl of cereal this morning for breakfast. I got down in my back really bad yesterday afternoon. I've been experiencing some lower back pain as of late (muscular) so I need to find out what's causing it. I'm going to a memorial service for a neighbor that passed this morning. He was a really nice guy that I chatted with while on my dog walks. Well, later.

We only got a little skiff this morning, really more sleet than snow. Lows are predicted to be just below freezing and highs to be mid to upper 30s for next week. Snow and rain but "Little or no snow accumulation expected".

Hate the snow but we need it up in the mountains for summer irrigation. I see where some of our South Western states are working on some projects to take the very last bit of water from the Colorado River. I'm sure they would love to run a pipeline up to the Columbia.
