Mid 90's predicted again for boxing day down under.
Time to head to the creek at the farm and play with a few of the presents.
Got a nice little tackle box from the daughter that is just perfect for holding F5 size rapala lures that are my favorite for trout when wandering the creek. Fits 4 F5's 4 F3's or spinners a few swivels hooks and sinkers if I feel the need to drown some worms and still fit comfortably in a pocket.

Wife has been wanting a standup paddle board for a while that we gave her yesterday so she is keen to try it out.

I have been building a slip on camper for the back of my ute (pickup) slow going as I have been at it for 18 months. Family all chipped in for Christmas and I got the clamshell roof top tent I have been wanting. I have the slip on unit to the stage I can give it a bit of a test run to see if I am happy with how I have things set up before fitting the tent.
Tray height is about 3'4" which meant by the time I built a kitchen and mount it looking at a cooking height of around 4'6" workable for me at 6'2" but not really for the wife at 5'6". Swing out or slide out dont really improve things so have modified a slide to a drop down arrangement that gives a working height of about 3'6". Worse with the fridge as it is nearly 2" tall and top opening so it was a lucky dip as to what my wife pulled out. It to has been installed on a slide out drop down arrangement.

Have some nice cold beers in the fridge, left overs from yesterday and ready for a relaxing day by the creek

It got down to about 25° last night. It's 49° at this writing. I cooked bacon, pancakes, and coffee for breakfast. The family has just been relaxing today watching movie.

40 f here this morning. It will in the upper 70's by the end of the week. Being surrounded by water, our county doesn't get as cold as Tampa.

33 heading to 40 with some light rain. Had quite a bit of light but steady rain/sleet/ice rain yesterday and I understand it’s a big slick mess out there. No plans today to go out and see for myself. I will be getting the tractor out today to move snow piles and berms as my driveway and roads are getting narrow again. I like to keep a wide path to where my shop is in case I ever need to get a fire truck back there.

We're out of the teens and twenties here. 53 today with steady rain. Other than a few snow clumps, it's all melted away.
Breakfast gravy over biscuits and scrambled eggs, with side of bacon and hot tea.

I really need a bigger screen to type on than this phone has to offer. Or i need to learn to be a better proof ready than my previous post shows. It looks like some type of disjointed pig latin. Oh well, surely all my old english teachers have croaked by now so they will not feel any shame or embarrasment.

Our eye candy TV weather girl says a nice day today and warmer tomorrow.
Mostly sunny, with a high near 27. South wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Coffee coming up.
Nothing coming up today. I think I'll work on my knife kit in the shop.

27 on its way to 47 later today .... back below freezing to 21 tonight .... pretty quiet day on tap, no reason I know of now to crank a vehicle and travel anywhere .... from watching national news, there are many parts of the country that are digging out from a major snow
