Christmas Quilts

I'm not the only one who has been busy... Miss Tina has spent the last week or so making a Christmas quilt. For E... my Daughter's Service Dog. He hasn't been well, suffering seizures. He is a bulldog, and weighs in at 100 pounds of solid muscle. She loves him dearly and may lose him before the summer. So....

That dog is dedicated to her as well. It's like he is attached to her hip.

To be fair though, Little Miss Fiona is spoiled as well and Tina made her quilt long before she made one for E.

*** I'll not mention any names, but just before this picture was taken, someone was engaging in her favorite pastime of hunting for Moles/Voles to eradicate. A look at that muzzle and feet tells the tale. She is a white West Highland Terrier... she doesn't look all that white in spots does she?

Beautiful. I have a neighbor friend who is a master quilter. She tried to teach me, but these old eyes tire too quickly for that kind of work.

Nice work, the colors in the dog quilt really pop. Nice job capturing the expression in the face, almost like the dog is actually looking back.

She has made good use of her She Shed. I bet she has made about 20 or more since she got started in there. Most have gone as gifts, even the one she worked the longest and hardest on, which was going to be Tina's. My oldest daughter came to visit and Tina told her to pick ANY quilt. She picked that one.
