It's about the same now as it was at 6:00 a.m. (69° now 70°). There was a bit of fog that will soon burn off as it's supposed to reach 80° this afternoon. I made bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy and coffee for breakfast (my wife's favorite breakfast). Anyway, I've got some work to do today but nothing too arduous.

16 heading to 25 with an overcast sky keeping it gloomy out there. Got a couple of inches of snow overnight but with the cold temp the snow is so light I could just use my leaf blower and move it off the concrete. More snow expected mid to late week that could amount to several inches total over a few days. I think winter is here.
Not much on tap today other than doing the light shoveling of last nights snow.

23 with a freezing drizzle coming down and later the temp will climb all the way to 25. We were planning a trip to Idaho today but decided to wait until tomorrow due to the freezing fog. Now the weather guy says we will have the same tomorrow so maybe we’ll just go anyway. Thursday brings our next snow storm followed by another on Saturday. Could be several inches each.

I'm finally getting over a cold/flu I've had for the last couple of weeks. Didn't feel really terrible, congested, cough, slight temp. Worst symptom was increased shortness of breath which I always have anyway due to my COPD. I haven't had a cold since having a very mild case of Covid a couple of years ago so it might be something I will have to put up with future colds, etc.
I did do a couple of at home Covid tests and also had a drive-thru test and they were all negative.
A couple of nurses I've talked to said there are a lot of non-Covid respiratory illnesses going around.
Was feeling back to normal at the end of last week and over the weekend and then woke up Monday morning with a slightly sore throat. Don't feel too bad today, throat is a little sore and have a slight cough but I am very congested. Don't know it it's a new cold or a relapse from what I had before.
I guess they are right about a lot of it going around. I was getting a few groceries at Fred Myer yesterday and wanted to pick up a extra bottle of cough syrup and the cold remedy shelf was completely empty.

Hang in there guys. Sleep a lot and drink lots of fluids and it will pass.

we awoke to a drizzling, very foggy morning .... 61 on its way to 68 with rainy periods .... a noonish outing to haul trash, pick up my laptop at Best Buy, with shopping stops at Sam's and Walmart .... if things go as usual, that outing will take place at the same time as one of the periods of rain

25 heading way up to 26, wow

. Overcast sky that the weatherman says is freezing fog. Not so for me but we did get some ice yesterday. Just heard on the news that over dave77’s way there is a 30 car pile-up blocking the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90. Happy to not be traveling today. We did make our run to Idaho yesterday and the roads were fine.
Still talk about snow tomorrow and again on Saturday but it’s looking like the accumulation will be less that originally thought. Still looking at a couple of inches from each storm, just enough to make me get the shovel out.

Another warm morning this morning in the low 70's with the high in the low 80's this afternoon. I had to get out early to get my eye injections this morning. The numbing is just now starting to wear off and the eyes are starting to sting a bit. I'll take it easy today.

Damn Covid wore me out but I'm starting to get my energy back a little at a time.

Coop, from reading about how active you are you must be a very young 82. Glad you’re feeling better and the energy will return.
23 this morning but we may have a warm up to around 30 because…. Yep, here it comes again. Got a storm inbound with a forecast of 4-7” of snow this afternoon/evening and another storm on Saturday with a forecast of an additional 3-6”. Looks like my Friday and Sunday will be busy with snow displacement.
Starting to get some ice dams on my eves so today I’ll use my snow rake and clear off the eves. Went into Deer Park to my wife’s cousin’s place (they are snowbirds and are south) and did their eves. They have a big ice dam problem and I wish I had got the snow off sooner. Thought maybe they have a problem at their place but I noticed many of their neighbors have the same issue. So it must have been a combination of wet snow and the thaw/freeze that did it.
