I’ll be going to the library for a Thanksgiving lunch later today but had to get in my daily dose of shooting first. I shot the Henry SGC and Federal Auto-Match 40 grain HV. I usually shoot SV or Quiets and don’t use ear protection. Today I shot louder ammo and wore muffs. I shot about 60 rounds in the sunshine. It’s only about 25 degrees but with no wind and sunshine I felt warm.

The snow isn’t too deep and if I had more time I would have put paper targets out. Maybe tomorrow as I won’t be going anywhere.

I wish the Quiets were quiet enough to shoot out of a pistol without using ear protection, but, unfortunately, they're not, since I've already have some shooting related hearing loss. SV or Automatch are a no go. Air guns, though, no problem. That's why I've been shooting air guns so much.

Happy Thanksgiving, Gene.

Love that Henry Gene with the large loop lever! I have been shooting the CB's lately since the Quiets haven't been in stock around here lately and they shoot well for plinking.

I have a few CB’s but prefer a RN because they cycle easier.
