Wet and dreary day again in SE Texas. We did have some sunshine and more importantly no rain yesterday. It's supposed to rain most of the day and not get out of the mid 40's. The wife is coming back from her trip today so I've got to make the trip to IAH later in the evening to pick her up.
I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee this morning.

I have deer tracks all around the house, out in the fields and even crossing my range. I threw some apples out and then it snowed so I put some in a flower pot. This morning I can see they ate the apples to the left that was in the snow. You can see bits and pieces if you look close.

26 and Crystal clear in South Carolina midlands getting to 54 today, cleaning out the fire pit then to town for a turkey
Very nice OB, looks peaceful.

22 heading to 31 with an overcast but we are supposed to see the sun today. Talk is we could see an inch or two of snow tomorrow turning to freezing rain then just rain. Today I’ll be splitting some kindling as I’m getting low, been using more this year than normal with the cold temps we’ve had. And get the outside stuff done that I procrastinated yesterday.

Currently 41 and feels like 30 going for a top of 55. Better than yesterday, got to a top of 41 with gale force winds and about 20 ice showers it felt below freezing all day.
A week from summer down under but you wouldnt think so. Trying to revive lambs that have become hypothermic overnight.

Morning....warmer next few days. Im in on that for sure. Turky day be creeping this way. Always good to take a break... see family ..
And remember we should be very thankful. Turkey day in ukraine will be pretty tough this year. Say a prayer for those folks and all the worlds millions who have been handed a MUCH shorter stick than we have.

Looks like a nice day ahead. High in 60’s. Got the oil leak fixed on dozier yesterday, so maybe today I can check out new Airgun.

Coffee, cookies. BTW, I ordered some MyCoffee and I really like it.
OK, I surrender. The damned dishwasher has defeated me. I cannot fix it so Carol called
a service tech to come look at it, but he can't get here until next week so dishwashing
volunteers are appreciated.😊

Rain and cold again this morning. I thought I'd never tire of rain after that drought, but I'll say, "I'm tired of it!". Light rain and 47° at this writing. I got Robyn picked up from the airport last night after a bit of a traffic mess. Cars were backed up to the terminal C arrival entrance for about 40 minutes filled with stop and go (mostly stop) excitement. Finally got home after 11:00 p.m. on a flight that at arrived at 8:37 p.m.
I just had cereal and coffee this morning. Oh, there's an interesting post on Traces of TX today for you deer hunters.

^^^^^^

Yuk Jake that she had to fly this week.

Woke up to a balmy 30 this morning which is considerably warmer than it’s been lately. Overcast with a storm approaching. Forecast is for 1-3” of snow south of me and 3-5” north of me so I expect to be somewhere in the middle. Then the snow will be followed by rain so tomorrow will be a mess. Thanksgiving is supposed to be pleasant so all those traditional football games played among family should be fine. (Glad it’s not me). Today’s a dog day with an earlier drop off at the groomers followed by a pick up here shortly. Then back to Deer Park at 3:00 for a vet visit. Gonna be an expensive day.

Fair 16°F, well, that's at the airport five miles north of us. At home here it's actually 23 degrees.
Sunny, with a high near 42. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Humidity 93%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 30.03 in
MyCoffe with just a dollop of heavy cream. Goooooddd!! Cookies.
Nothing much planned today. Just get ready for the family to come spend the afternoon
on Thanksgiving. Carol is planning for about ten or so. Now if anyone of you wants to come wash
dishes, we'll set a place at the table for you.😁

Currently 57 getting to 68. Sandy is preparing for the family gathering tomorrow, my orders are to go tinker in the garage and stay out of the way.

29 with an overcast and a predicted high of 32. Got 4” of snow last night that came down when it was warm at 33 ish. Then a nice overnight freeze that will make shoveling/blowing/plowing much easier than the wet glop out there when I went to bed. But I have to get to it early or it could return to the glop state.
