OH no! Denny's engine self-destructs and the Lions seem to be doing the same thing!

when the 11's engine let go, it really let go ..
.. congrats to the 48 at Charlotte .... if that team gets hot, they have proven they can be tough to beat .... my girl ran well all day and brought home an 11th place finish ..

Re: Official 2016 NASCAR Thread
I thought the race stunk myself. One of the worst I've ever seen, and I'm not usually a pessimistic person, lol.
I never liked a track that eats tires and this track took it's share.
Too many of my drivers had a rough day to boot.
That said, I was glad to see Newman have a good finish (4th) and Kyle Busch was able to salvage a 6th after some earlier problems.

Re: Official 2016 NASCAR Thread
Much better race.
Congrats to the 4 team.
I would have liked to see Carl Edwards win it, but he had another 2nd.
Truex had some more of that bad luck, but salvaged an 11th.
Good to see Austin Dillon finish 6th.
Still trying to figure out what happened to the 5 and 24's L/R Tire. Both from the same team, both had the same problem and both just about at the same time. So far I haven't heard or read what it could have been.

Wow! Denny's 3rd place finish just barely got him into the top 8!

Another exciting race in Talladega, congratulations to Joey Logano for the win. Carl Edwards finished 29th but moves on to the next round in the chase in Martinsville.

Re: Official 2016 NASCAR Thread
More bad luck for Truex, who is now out of the chase, but still had a pretty good year with a few more chances to improve on it.
Yeah, Hamlin and Dillon actually tied, but it went to Denny.
The most surprising thing of the day? No "big one".

Re: Official 2016 NASCAR Thread
Just thought I'd update everyone that I got about half way through the race last night before the sawing of the logs kicked in. Tonight I will get it finished. Just for the record I still haven't looked at any of the past posts here.
I'll let you know...
